  1. Way to go Eliana! I'm just happy to see a minus for myself... Lol
  2. Jannae, you can definitely do it!! You should calculate your BMR, and then add the exercise facor and see what you can consume and maintain your weight (at worst). That way, the vacay won't put you behind, but at worst you will break even I'm glad to hear everyone is so positive, even if we are having a few issues!!
  3. weigh in day! Down about a half pound, its better than nothing! I had been hoping for more, since I exercised all week, but oh well! I am about 1 1/2 pounds from beating my plateau that I can't seem to bust through... my goal weight for the wedding is 6 1/2 pounds away, and I have 8 weeks... time to put a push on! I would like to be about 11 1/2 pounds lighter than I am now, but I have to be realistic
  4. Glad to hear your FI is home, sunstarsmoon! Renee - that was like me the week leading up to the initial weigh-in - I just felt so damn blah!
  5. Tara your pictures are AMAZING.... I am definitely stealing some of them for inspiration pictures for my photog!!
  6. Krista I'm writing my own! Theknot.com has some great tips and places to start! FI and I are going to write our own and then compare... On another note, B bought my wedding bands today, one will be in on the 7th and the other on the 21st or something! He is so organized!!
  7. I won't get in shoulders/arms tonight, but I am getting up to do it early!!!
  8. Hahaah thats great that you are going with your dream though
  9. lol you switched again? hehehe thats hilarious!!
  10. My group booked with the early booking bonus, and they are paying $108 + $309.00 tax which is quite reasonable!! We are getting married at Dreams Punta Cana by the way. I just wantewd to say something to you as a side note... we originally wanted to get married in Jamaica, very badly actually and some of our guests complained about the cost being too high, so we switched it. Those guests did not end up booking anyway!! SO we kind of compromised, even though I am happy with our choice. Just wanted to say to not compromise too much for a few people, because those who are supposed to be there will book regardless, especially if you give them enough notice they are able to save. Good luck!
  11. Great advice Amy!! You are the P90X queen, so I will definitely listen to you! hehe I must be switching some of my weight from fat to muscle, since I haven't really budged on the scale but B says I look different.. good news there!
  12. I just got back from my cardio session at the gym... didn't feel very well, so I had to cut it short. Hopefully I feel better for P90X tonight!! I'm doing great with the giving up of one thing (which for me is fast food)... what's helping is that we have so many wedding expenses that I can't afford to eat out! haha
  13. congrats Eliana!! I've been going to the gym on my lunch for cardio and doing P90X at night... still going twice a day! If I keep going like this I will know I did everything possible to get myself in shape for the wedding... no regrets, no excuses!
  14. hahahah! you do realize its my university grad, and a fountain in the background though, right? I agree it does look like that!
  15. YES, It is ERIN'S wedding... bahahahaha we are funny! We are making strides too, I have started working on my planning thread a little and I have B's ring almost completely paid for My dress fitting is in 2 weeks, and it needs to be taken in A LOT We got so much accomplished early that we don't have very much left to do... crazy, huh?!
  16. Amy, I wish I were going!!! It is going to be simply amazing, I can't wait to see if you have things to sell after the fact... hehehe
  17. I've been running everyday and doing P90X at night... I dread the P90X, but I'm seeing some results already, so thats motivating for me!
  18. Sunstarsmoon- sorry to hear about the FI, but glad to hear he is doing better! The weekend was hard to stay on track with all of the stress and confusion, but I think I did ok! I did have a glass of wine with FI on Friday night, but one glass isn't a deal breaker
  19. Most often, the a la cartes are pretty strict in my experience! My fiancé has gotten away with 3/4 length pants, but shorts would be pushing it. Ask that guest if it is worth not being allowed to attend your wedding dinner over shorts. I wouldn't risk it and don't know anyone that would... Just my two cents!
  20. Congrats Jenny! Let's keep working everyone, lots of time to go!
  21. Eliana those are great! I like how you attached the pages of the boarding passes, very different!! Tam is leaving for her wedding today!!!
  22. By the way I sent you my picture Renee!!
