  1. thanks for the tip Erin! By the way, your pictures so far are beautiful!!
  2. so We would just fill it up to where we want it and then put the epoxy right on it? I will get a picture of our vase and tell me what you think we should do... hahaha
  3. Mere, you are forgiven... hahaha So I had a lot of wedding stuff going on this weekend, and I managed to pretty much stay on track! Friday is always my cheat day, so I definitely didn't behave haha
  4. Hey ladies, I have a question! I can't remember who mentioned this (I think it was Erin or Tam) but someone mentioned using gorilla epoxy to seal the top of their sand ceremony vase. We have an opening on ours of about 2 1/2 inches diameter... could we use this to seal it? Or could someone suggest something else?
  5. That's like us... we are only taking sashes, centrepieces and a sand ceremony set. Everything else is going to be as-is!
  6. wow Heather, that is a crappy hand life has dealt you right now! My condolences for your FI and his family, and I will keep them in my prayers, especially his grandma. Stay strong for him right now, that should be your #1 focus... I just feel so bad for you right now
  7. wow, fantastic planning thread! A girl on here got freeze-dried orchids from save-on-crafts.com that could be an option of they can get them to you fast enough!
  8. Hi Sarah! Welcome! Don't get too frustrated with the response time, she usually takes a couple of days (or even a week) to get back to you... especially if you wedding date isn't that close. But she always writes back at some point! Not sure if anyone suggested this to you or not yet, but we had some issues a little while back about honoring prices that we were initially quoted. So SAVE EVERYTHING, even if it is the smallest of things! You should have received an email with a confirmation number (at least I did, with 4 digits) and stating both of your names and a date. Maybe drop Deyanira a line to ask her about it?
  9. My shoulder definition is coming through and ab ripper is really doing a good job! I do a few extra lower ab exercises, since I find it doesn't target these as much as I'd like! I still have yet to do one full real pull up though... Lol!
  10. Cindy- I generally only miss P90X on the weekends, if at all! Even my Mom is seeing some results on me! Yesterday was my 3rd Monday... now she wants to start it! haha I struggle with the diet though for it, so I try to follow it roughly and that seems to be helping! I agree about the sluggish feeling... I didn't get to work out on my lunch like I normally do, and I missed it and felt gross the rest of the day, even though I got P90X in at night. I'm on week 3 of cardio at lunch and P90X at night, and it feels like routine finally! Finally, I had a diet triumph last night! I got a little hungry around 10pm, and decided to make a snack. I was going to make something that is relatively healthy, but not appropriate for that late at night (english muffin pizzas). I am telling you, I literally had everything out on the counter ready to go, oven on and all... and then I said "wtf, I don't really want this" put EVERYTHING away and opted for fresh strawberries instead! And to be honest, that really did the trick... I would have been eating just to eat if I had eaten what I initially chosen... NAT= 1 FOOD= 0!!
  11. lol Jenn, my name is Natasha... bahaha Nat usually confuses people I'm not entirely sure if we are using the huppah or not, we go back and forth about it! And now, we have thrown the gazebo into the mix... so who knows?! hahaha
  12. oh wow thanks for the tip! Now I just have to see if they ship to Canada...
  13. welcome to the forum! Don't be nervous, everything will be wonderful By the way, STOP READING TRIP ADVISOR haha it's often a place for complainers to air their issues!
  14. yeah, I'm doing much better! Now that the memorial service is over, we're all working to get past it... What kind of sucks though is that the entire reason we were having an AHR is for him... oh well, what can you do?
  15. So the weekend wasn't that great for the diet for me, but I am right back on the horse today! B had his wisdom teeth out on Friday, and there were lots of frozen treats around because of that... hehe
  16. smtc0245 - speak up! No need to be silent here Erin - I added you on FB, just so you know
  17. good luck ladies! What a great line-up this time... wasn't easy to choose!
  18. Ironically enough, I could always finish the mason twists, which my FI finds amazing! I have a problem with the roll-up v-ups... I can only do about 3 and then I need a break! lol I am going to truly start the diet tomorrow (I think) and see how it goes... I'm trying to bust through a plateau, so maybe this will help? I have been eating well and everything, but maybe the diet will give me a little extra push
  19. Methinks that I will need a long run after my g-pa's memorial service today.... hope everyone is having a good weekend by the way!
