Tash, sent you a message back... We never did have an official invitation to the wedding b/c we booked so fast there was really no point.. We are just starting to decide details (such as dates) for our AHR too.. I love the idea that you are going to wear a white cocktail dress... might copy you on that.. I think we're planning a BBQ style event, but can't decide (on anything)! this totally sucks as we have people coming in from out of town and need to give them enough time to book flights, etc... I thought the planning was going to end after the wedding!!

I have 40 black organza chair ties and 5 black table runners for sale. Asking $40 cnd + shipping. In perfect condition, some are still in the packages, never used. For any Punta Cana brides, I over-ordered my travel mugs so I have 15 (I think) black with silver trim mugs left that have a white palmtree on it.. on the top of the tree it says, Punta Cana and underneath Dominican Republic... no names or dates!! Never used, still in packaging. Paid almost $500 Cnd with shipping/taxes from discount mugs, asking $50 + shipping. They are stainless steel on the inside. I will try to post pics later today.

Well I have finally decided to sell my wedding flowers... Sad to see them go, but I know they will be put to good use! I have: hotpink lily bouquet for the bride 2 flower balls for flower girls (pink and ivory) one jr. BM bouquet (pink and ivory) 4 BM bouquets (hot pink lily with light green cymbidium orchid and ivory flowers) I also have my DH's bout (light green and pink), but not sure if the other ones have been thrown out..so there may be 2 or 3 more bouts in the cymbidium orchids I also have my hot pink lily hair flower 3 extra ivory roses you could use as extras 2 bags of hot pink fake flower petals from Michaels used on our tables (approx 600).. I would prefer not to separate, but will. Paid $480 Cnd for everything, asking $225 + shipping. Paypal only. I still can't figure out how to post pics, so I will email anyone interested. Cara!!! What a time you are having. So sorry about your Dad... I am sitting here in tears reading this.. can't imagine how you feel right now! I have travelled with Signature before too and had problems and that was just for a regular vacation... not impressed with them.. You are very lucky to have a good TA working for you.. ours was so-so and honestly don't think she could handle your situation.. Things can only get better for you, hang in there and good luck!

I wish I had found this thread before we got married!!! I think having a "send off" party rather than an AHR is a great idea. However, not finding this thread before, leaves me to have our AHR sometime in the summer as a backyard BBQ... I have had comments that it's too far out from our wedding, but I don't want an official reception at a venue.. quite honestly, I don't even want to do the summer party now but I kinda have to ...
