Thanks TA Maureen, I know this message was for Karen, but this was great to know my rates are also around the right price based on the time of year we are having our wedding. 1000-1100 a person for 4 night, around 1200-1300 for 5 nights, 1500-1600 for 7 nights including airfare during June -

you didn't screw up the hotel told you the wrong info, so its not your fault, they just want the business lol.... You might be able to find a really good TA that can mayyyybbee get around he high prices mayyyybeee....... or see if they can change date at the resort and catch the company before they print the stds... either way i think everything will work itself out in time -

ohhh my yeh i think the slow season is pretty much May - Octoberish...... and prime time is November - April. I have heard excellent things about the Majestic and here that its beautiful and reasonable priced. I think your rates might be high just because of the season. Would they let you change your date ? and just reorder stds ? -

Hi Karen, my rates for the DR are averging 1k per person including airfare for 5 days at the Dreams Punta Cana for June 2010, which is a slow season. I got these prices from 2 different TA's so I think 2k a person is unreal unless the resort is really expensive. -
