  4. Hey Nat, how did you get money in your bank, I have tried to find out about this but can't find the thread on this.

This is great, thanks for the good news E. Cup cakes will be soo cute
  6. I have no clue yet lol.. but I think it will be easier than trying to depend on Mike to take care of it, they may never get anything hahaa They all like alcohol so I amy get them some shot glasses engraved as a keep sake, and make mike pay for part of there attire as well. I don't know I will have to think some more on it. Is anyone doing a BD book ? I know I am for sure especially since I model, Mike will love it because he says I never take pictures for him so I can't wait to do the phot shoot for that and put the book together.
  7. i know for me instead of trying to get Mike to understand he is suppose to get gifts for the GM, I will more than likley pick out or decided on something purchase it and put his name on it lol... much like all the other gift we get people
  8. Congrats and welcome fellow DR bride
  9. I think for my BM's I am going to buy there jewlery, purchase small keepsake gift, and pay for a portion of there briedsmaid dress, and I know FI doesn't even know he is suppose to get his GM gifts lol.....
  10. hmmmm maybe I should check back with Deyanira on the gazebo, I was for sure it was 100 people lol... and the hitmatsu terrace used to say 80 but now it says 100 is the max Thx E, I never thought my guest list would be were it is now I'm still amazed and shocked everytime i think about it. Plus I've had to cut some things out that I wanted to do since the guest list is so big, no more OOT bags, private welcome dinner or excursion for our guest. but it should be fun and exciting with all our closest friends and family

You are starting to push the upper limits hahaha They better move the sashes, I haaaaate their colors... not to mention the outrageous price! Heyyyyy Nat, Yeh the Hitmatsu Terrace holds 100 people and the gazebo holds 100 people so we should still be fine hopefully lol....

Hey E, thats great news about the kids bringing down the cost for the reception, we have 10 kids on our list, so that helps. as for the chair sashes, I would hope they would move them because I think it would be crazy to buy seperate chair sashes for the ceremony and the reception. I've seen there colors and couldn't find anything I actually liked either lol... and I definitley don't want to pay for something I don't like. as for the free room ... I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying that it works out it shouldn't matter if you are having a wedding or not, we are still a group coming together, and we actually spend more money than the average group because we are holding a private event that cost extra money on top of the already all inclusive plan, they should always give free rooms to the bride and groom with a group of 10 or more geeezzzzzz

I look WAY better than the model does in the dress.. she just looks like she's PMSing and needs some chocolate or something. If you look it up (I tried to get a link to it) you have to be as honest as possible.. Im sure I will feel better once I try it on again, but I'm still freaking.. Tam your dress is beautiful and I'm sure you will love again when you go back for the fitting.

Ok so the menu prices. While my fingers are clearly crossed the cheaper option is correct, i doubt it very much. I think the prices on the website are old and that they do not include Tax & Tip. Whereas the prices in Toya's post (which is what i was quoted as well) are most likely correct but they include tax and tip which lessons the discrepancy a wee bit. Also they keep telling me they don't have 2010 prices for the cocktail hr. Has anyone been quoted anything for this? I'm definitely curious to hear what someone from Dreams says about it rather than my own interpretation! Hey Jocy, I have yet to get 2010 prices for the cocktail hour either, I'm glad u said this because I had actually forgot about it lol... since I was soo focused on getting the right buffet menu prices .
  15. ok so I just viewed the DREAMS website and those prices are soo different from the 2010 prices that Deyanira gave me that is crazy here is what she gave me I'm attaching the document and posting it again for those who can't open the document. I love it but of course the model is wickedly skinny, doesn't look quite the same on this girl. ;0) Good luck to all of you who have your fittings this weekend, I hope it all goes well! Tara, Your dress is sooo gorgeous I luv it I gotta post my dress, Ijust hate the way my hair look that day I took a picture in my dress lol... so I don't show people that picture hahahaha
  18. Hello ladies, Jocy, that is a beautiful dress. I haven't even begin to think what gifts, favors or anything yet lol....
  19. Hey Ladies, I sent my credit card info in black n white and they told me they wouldn't confirm until they actually received the card in color, so finally I was able to get a good color copy and sent it over and they confirmed the date. they have not charge my card yet either and I was told by the WC and past brides DPC brides that they don't charge it until you get there anyways soo I didn't worry about it anymore. although it was very frustrating trying to get the color copy lol....
  20. I think the contract is for travel/lodging, I haven't heard or seen any contract for the actual wedding part lol.....

Hmmm I hope that is not true because mine is not a new booking either most of my guest have already booked and we are hoping to move onto the Dreams contract to get the free room. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both od us E.
