I am not sure what package you are getting, but I know the 2010 pricing has a mani included in the silver package. For you girls that are getting the Gold Package, it comes with a bridal hair and a groom's haircut. Now I am guessing that most of our soon to be hubby's are going to have their hair in order before they leave home. So you could ask to substitute that hair cut for a different sap service. Its worth it ask your WC at least.

Amy, OMG you are so well organized. I would love to be like that one day. What a great idea to send out different save the dates as reminders. And the one about remember your passport is such a good idea. In fact, I might use this idea and send one just to the people who are booked. Thank you for bringing such amazing ideas to the thread!

Ive been back and fourth on not having enough time to do them myself or just pay someone to do them, but after finding the cutest bridal shop ever and sitting in there for 3 hours and not deciding on anything because everything was super nice, I decided on one thing when i left... $400 is alot for invites when I have to buy 2 sets, one for destination wedding and one for at home reception... Anyways, while shopping at Target Thursday I went down the stationary isle and low and behold they had wedding palm tree invitations in a 50 pack with rspv super cute ON CLEARENCE for $12 no joke! How could I possibly pass that up.. Additionally, I went to the $1-$2 section in the front of the store and bought some twine and a hole puncher and wala, with some fancy font and some stationary scent of coconut(to get ppl in the vacationing mood haha) these will be perfect! I will post some pics as soon as im done Amy, I love your coconut smell invite idea! It's so creative. Everything is going to come together perfectly. I am excited to have our weddings on the same day!!

I want a veil too, but I'm concerned it might blow all over the place and be in my face....so im not sure what im going to do yet. The lady who is making my dress suggested i get a veil that goes to the ground and then little weights (decorated with flowers) can sit on top of the veil to keep it from blowing. Meghan, I totally forgot about getting a bra built into my dress, thank you. I am not busty either and it will be so much more comfy. I say if you can find a veil you should go for it. I mean how many times do we get to wear a veil in our lives. Even if you didn't want to wear a long veil there are lots of shot ones out there too. Either way you will be a very beautiful bride.

I am trying not to go the dyeable route because we all know you never end up wearing them again. I am not crazy about the silver option with coral dresses. I thought about maybe a bronze or copper color. Here is the website to the dress, the style is 366, but of course my color (tulip) is not one of the colors shown. Let me know your thoughts. Hi Ladies! Here is what has been going on with my planning: - Just ordered my veil about 20 minutes ago!!! So excited!! I love, love, love it! Its short and full of ruffles is the best way to describe it. - My FI and I are official and just got our contract from our travel agent for a group travel packages and who has booked. We have 38 people coming who have booked through our travel agent. I think a few others are just booking via travel website. - Thanks to Amy being a rock star. I am also doing real touch flowers. I am still working on ideas with 2 of the vendors and will be making a decision within a week or so. I really hate to do this, but I was so put off I am going to. *Angel Accents I highly do not recommend. She was very pushy when it came to ideas and making a decision. She wanted a decision within 24 hours of her providing a quote. I talked to her on the phone and she was ok, but was very eager to tell you that she didn't have time for you to think about it, and there is always another bride to take your place. I didn't like that approach at all. - My shower is in a few weeks Nov. 7th. A few additional questions for you girls: - I am deciding if i want to do a 2 tier cake at the resort. Can you tell me if you provided your Lomas WC any ideas or pictures? If you don't mind sharing if you picked out special flavors, designs, or cost. I would really appreciate the help. - Shoes! I need to decide on my shoes. I am going to wear heels because I love heels. I am thinking about getting colored heels to match my coral bridesmaid dresses for some contrast. Any thoughts on this idea? Also, are you making your bridesmaids wear heels in the sand or just having them pick out what they want as long as its in the color you want the shoes to be in.

We have his suit (cream coloured linen jacket and beige linen pants) - Working on formal invites. We are making them ourselves. We will send them out January 1st and ask for a rsvp by February 28th (i think...not 100% sure on dates yet) We are getting married July 2nd 2010, but I want people to get on booking. - No idea what we are doing for centerpieces or oot bags yet. I'm thinking we'll start dealing with those after christmas. - FI and I are taking ballroom dance lessons! It's a lot of fun but expensive! They are going to coreograph (sp?) something for our first dance. I think that's all right now Meghan, I am so excited for you to have your first fitting. Do you already have your shoes and undergarments too? I am so jealous you are so organized. I need to get on the ball.

I noticed that the new Silver and Gold packages for 2010 had the sand ceremony and bride hair style included (also, a few other bits that I wan;t too bothered about) so I emailed Tiffany about it and she has just added them onto my package free of charge. Thought I would share seen as we do not get many things for free at AS! It is only 8 weeks till the wedding and I do not have a passport yet! Need to get organised now. Tiffany did the same thing for me when I asked about the 2009 vs. 2010 differences. She was very quick to add on the additional items. I get my sand ceremony included now when I was going to pay for it. Every little bit helps.

I am really excited for you to do your site visit. Please let us know how everything looks and how the service is. Also we love pictures!! If you could see how the beach is and the also the gazebo/ canopy on Zocallo beach ( this should be the canopy close to the pier). I would really appreciate it. Have a wonderful time!! I'm trying to put our save the date as my avatar as well but it's not working ... hopefully I"ll figure out how to get all the pictures up!

I think I am going to go the silk flower route as well. I can get the real touch silk flowers custom made and they are still way less than what the resort is asking. Plus the quotes I'm getting for real flowers for my home fiesta has been silly expensive. At least with silks I can reuse them. Kitten - thank you so much for all of your recommendations on the real touch silks. Have you decided who you are going to go with? Oh and girls, I am starting to freak out a little. I am getting married just smacked me in the face a few days ago!!

Since we booked the silver package in April, I am going to assume its too late for a package change for me. However, I do want to see if they will include the sand ceremony since right now I'm paying $50 for it, and its included in the silver package for 2010. Sure its only $50, but every little bit adds up. I will defiantly let you know what Tiffany says.

I am getting married at Sensatori on May 10, 2010 and am PUMPED!! I have a few questions though that I'm hoping you wonderful ladies can help me out with. I'm not sure if this is something we discuss on here but here goes: A handful of our guests may have a tough time affording this gourmet-inclusive so naturally I want to get them the best rate. So I'm trying to figure out the best way to get the best rates for our guests and am wondering what kinds of rates have you guys been able to get for your guests (circa May 2010)?? Have you gotten better rates dealing with the resort directly or an outside TA? Is there a price-guarantee in effect (i.e. if the prices go down, will they go down also for guests who have already booked?). Any help or advice that you could provide would be phenomenal... THANK YOU!!! Welcome to the group! Both ladies are correct to look at the resort and through a travel agent. Most of my group is going through a TA but I do have a few that booked on the internet. Keep an eye out for promotions and special offers too, every little bit helps. Happy Planning.
