  1. Ladies, Everyone has amazing taste. Not one ugly dress in the bunch! It make me so happy!!
  2. I got stuck on a conference call and didn't get to finish my thoughts earlier. I hate when works get in the way! :-) Here are my new to do's: I can't believe I only have 61 days left until the wedding. I am starting to freak out a bit, simply because I have so much to do still and the time is flying. I need a week off work to do some of this but this is my busy time of year. I just tell myself its all going to work out. 12/11/09 – 12/25/09: #1 Order OOT bags ( I slacked and now have to wait for more to come back in stock) #2 Order OOT candles #3 Monogram stickers for my AH invites #4 Jewelry for bridesmaids #5 Decide hair and make up for wedding day – in process
  3. Hello ladies here is my list of to do's: MrsVaughn2B (Andrea) to do’s: 1. Bridesmaid shoes - think I almost got this one down! - Done 2. Select a cake person for my AH reception - Done and deposit sent 3. Send check to photog's for payment #2 of 3 - Done 4. Order bags for OOT bags - I'm a slacker 5. begin to select make up and hair for wedding day - in process
  4. From what I know Nicole is correct. Witnesses have to be there 3 days in advance to claim residency We are doing a legal ceremony too and that was one of the things we had to ask our witnesses to plan for.
  5. Nicole - Thank you for the order. Its short and sweet. Just the way I want it. I hate crying but OMG I know its going to happen. I least this way I can prepare.
  6. Does anyone know where the sand ceremony go during the actual wedding ceremony?
  7. Amy B, Thank you over and over for getting the ceremony info. That was on my list of things to do's!! Thank you! Thank you!
  8. Happy Thursday ladies. Katie - I hope you are doing well and staying positive with your friend situation. It really suck that she would do this so close to the wedding. Everything does happen for a reason, its just hard to figure out what that reason is sometimes. My original MOH and I broke up in May. I say break up because we were friends for 12 years now we don't talk at all. We became a one-sided friendship and when I confronted her about it, she told me I was selfish for bring it up. It was so hard to say but I know it was the right decision for me and making my wedding a success. Hang in there girlie!! Plus you have a great group of awesome ladies here to vent to and are on your side. Amy KH - Really you are so cute and you are totally a Cancer. Every Cancer I know is super high energy and a little it OCD. I wish I could be more like that. I'm an Aquarius and don't get hyped up about anything. My fiance hates this passionately. Even when he proposed I said, "Ok!" and not yes. I will never live it down. :-) Amy M: Looking forward to catching up via email with you. I am trying to get specific details on dress code, etc for the resort so we plug that info into pre-travel booklet for your guest. As you know sometimes you do have to ask more than once.

Not a fun feeling at all. At least its better said now than in 5 months when there's no turning back; it would ruin your special day. I had this similar thing happen earlier in the year but at least now there won't be that awkward tension. Lots of hugs to you.

  11. For anyone that is insrested the Spa at AS uses a spanish line of make up called Alissi Bronte. I am still looking into details about the company, line, ect...
  12. FYI... Bobbi Brown cosmetics (Thank you Amy -KH) does have a full line of waterproof eye make up. Cream eye shadows and of course waterproof mascara. They say it will last all day and all night. I have an appointment to check it out on Wednesday so I will report back on what I find out.

I am still waiting to hear back from mine about the TTD for you, I am meeting with them this week.

So we're off to the courthouse this afternoon! Congrats on your civil ceremony! Just think now you don't have to worry about all the legal stuff in Mexico and just have fun.

Nicole, Thank you for sharing you planning thread. I really thought it was honest and believe it or not helpful. I am sorta of like "whatever" on so much too. I am more excited about having fun in the sun for day on end with my family and friends then the actual wedding day it self.

We are bringing out photographer too but when we sat down and looked at the cost verses having a wedding at home, it came out to be the same plus we have them for 4 days vs. to only one day for an AH wedding. Just be prepared to do research and lean as you go. Also make sure you stay on top of your WC and emails, you will want to have all of your documentation handy just in care you need it. Its overwhelming at first but it gets better and the girls on the thread are awesome and will ease you mind if you have concerns.

I did get a gifts for my mom and my MOH who threw my shower and wrote them sweet cards. You will have such a great time. Its fun to get new stuff, just finding a place for it is sometimes hard to do. Enjoy!!

She balled her eyes out and nothing moved, even last through the next day Thanks Amy, I will check out the website and see what they have to offer. The waterproof everything might be a good way to go. You are awesome! I am so happy I have found you girls for good advice.

I know this is a stupid question but do they make waterproof everything? I wonder where I can find it? I am usually not a crier, not even at funerals, but OMG when I got engaged it was like a waterfall came out of my face. I know I will start crying because he will be crying.
