  6. Congrats and welcome to the forum, the best way to avoid the 4 day requirement is to do the legal part at home before you leave, it can save some extra money and you don't have to worry about all the paperwork and making sure everything is translated and all that.

  14. love the bag, I'm a huge fan of fair trade items and get them all the time, it's such a great way to help someone else out!
  15. I'm so sorry to hear that, it's an awful situation. I completely understand the estate issue my mother is currently involved in one against my uncle and it does put a huge strain on everything. I know it's heartbreaking to have to cancel your dream wedding with just a few short months left to go. I really hope that everything works out for you and you can make Omaha turn into your dream in the next 4 months! I'm sure everything will still be wonderful and beautiful and the most important thing is that it's your wedding day and in the end it doesn't matter what your location is, the only thing that's important is walking down the aisle to stand in front of the man of your dreams that you will spend the rest of your life with!
  16. ebredhawk your original post about the submerged flowers being difficult got me worried that's also what I'm doing for centerpieces. I think I understand what you mean about anchoring the flowers though. I'm submerging orchids and then I want to use some plumeria petals to scatter around the table.
  17. Everything looks great! I absolutely love it all and your dress is gorgeous! Where did you get the orange flip-flops?
  18. Congrats and welcome to the forum!! You're going to love it!
  19. Everyone I've ever known has a dollar dance. However, it doesn't usually involve the MOH or a hat or the bride and groom running away. Usually people pay the bride $1 or more to dance with her for a short period of time. Sometimes people also have it set-up to dance with the groom as well but traditionally it's just to dance with the bride.
