  1. Yael I love it, everything was beautiful even in spite of the hassle of canceling due to swine flu, I think it turned out perfect, you are a beautiful bride!
  2. I agree it's not a good thing to hear about prices going up but whatever you were quoted should be what you're paying and I'm sure your WC will honor that.
  3. Hey I'm actually getting my master's in acupuncture currently. I get treated all the time and have been treating people for awhile now. I've seen amazing outcomes. I have one woman with MS who was told she would never walk again - that was last October, now she's walking playing with her kids and doesn't have a single complaint. Her western doctor is now sending all of his patients with MS to get acupuncture. If you have any questions or want some more information pm me and I'd be more than happy to help. There honestly isn't a single that that acupuncture can't treat or help with, with the exception of a broken bone because I can help your pain but you still need someone to put you in a cast!
  4. Congrats and welcome to the forum!
  5. Congrats and welcome to the forum!! I'm also from the Columbus area - glad to see another bride on here! I love Arizona, y FI and I went on vacation there last March and literally went from one end of the state to the other. Sedona is gorgeous and there was actually a wedding going on while I was there, looked beautiful! Good luck with all your planning!!
  6. That's horrible! I feel so bad for you, I hope that the new resort is understanding and can accommodate you with the whole situation that you are having to go through right now.
  7. Welcome to the forum and congrats to your daughter's engagement. Greece sounds amazing!
  8. I would stick with the 17th and not worry so much about the month or maybe you could move it to July 18th. My fi and I actually debate over whether our offical dating day began on July 17th or 18th so I guess in my case either one goes. Or like everyone else says maybe you can do that as your legal day so it keeps its meaning.

  13. Congrats and welcome to the forum! You will find a lot of great information on here, and I totally understand how being in grad school and planning a wedding can get very hectic. As for registering for gifts I see no reason why you can't but it is always a personal decision.
  14. I'm so sorry that you are having to go through this - you're feelings are completely normal and would be expected of anyone. It's not easy to have to postpone something you've been looking forward to for so long. Just remember that you love your FI and one day you will be getting married and when it happens you'll look back and realize everything you've gone through together is completely worth it.
  15. Congrats and welcome to the forum, you're going to love it!
  16. That sounds about average to me, but you could always get other quotes to see if you can find something for less.
