I'm sorry you're having to deal with this right now, especially when you are trying to accommodate your brother so much. I agree though I wouldn't tell your FI anything about this so that it doesn't hurt his feelings as well especially since he values your brother's friendship. I think you just need to talk to your brother though. I hope it all works out with your brother.

Yeah I agree with you Cassie, I am having a DW because I want the location and less people to invite! I love planning things though, and I think it's a lot of fun! The reason we chose 2011 is for a few reasons, one financial it gives us plenty of time to save up for everything since we are paying for it ourselves, 2 because I'm getting my master's and my program doesn't really allow for breaks so by the time our wedding rolls around I will have graduated and gotten my license to practice, 3 my best friend is having a DW in Thailand, so there goes FI's 2 week vacation in 2010.

I like D the most, but I agree with Nadine, because of the detailing on the dress I wouldn't wear a necklace just a nice pair of earrings.

Yesterday morning my mom, sister and I went on a mini road trip to a bridal shop an 1.5 away that was having a huge designer gown sale of everything $300 or less. Well when we pulled up we all pointed at this gown in the window and said that's it that's the one. It definitely was the one, I probably made the mistake of putting it on first but nothing else compared to it. It is a fall 2009 Jacqueline Exclusive gown. Unfortunately it wasn't in the room with all the dresses on sale since it's new, but I did get 15% off of it so and I couldn't be happier!

I think it looks great on you. I agree though leave the dress for a little while and then come back to it and see how you feel then. I don't think you can go wrong with this dress though it is beautiful, but you need to feel that it's the one for you.
