My ring was appraised for a couple grand more than what my FI paid for it. If yours was appraised at $1,000 less than what your Fi paid I think you may want to go back to the jewelers again. It shouldn't be appraised at a lesser value than what he purchased it for.

I like the first one the most, I think the colors pop more since they are a little brighter and it's not quite as busy as the second.

I'm a DT bride, and although the chapel is very nice it isn't very big and would not accommodate 50-80 people, it's really only good for about 20-30 and that's packing it in. The outside ceremony locations are great, but not sure what you are looking for for a set-up. Good luck with all your planning!

I was wondering if any of you that have already been to Tulum know of a good place to buy maracas. It's what we plan on using as table favors but I think I would much rather get them while I'm down there rather than have one more thing I need to figure out how to pack.
