  1. I cannot even explain how happy I am that these are done and ready for the mail! There were so many hiccups along the way with this project I thought for sure I'd be completely against doing anything DIY again. However, even though it took 2 months and a huge headache to get them finished I am so happy I did them and love how they turned out. So thank you to all you ladies who gave me inspiration for the passports and a special thanks to Di with sharing your template with me. I designed the passports using photoshop which I have never used before but once I got into a rhythm with it it started going much quicker. I ordered all the paper from Card Stock, Vellum Paper, Envelopes, Metallic Cardstock, Invitation Cards Specialty Wedding Stationery - Paperandmore.com outside cover: Orange Flame Metallic Cardstock 105# - Paperandmore.com inside pages: Metallic Cream Linen Card Stock 84# - Paperandmore.com envelopes: A7 Green Fairway Metallic Envelopes - Paperandmore.com Supplies I used to assemble... -fiskars cutting board -fiskars round corner punch -glue dots -adhesive -Martha Stewart's scoring board (this saved my time and patience!) outside cover (front & back) inside pages - I used the adhesive along each border to attach the inside pages because I really didn't want to use staples and it worked perfectly. I also made magnets using our fun monogram and attaching magnetic sheet to the back of them. This way our guests will have something to stick on the fridge. For the envelopes we printed out each address on the front, and we made custom postage from zazzle with our formal monogram. I ordered an address stamp off etsy from seller lovestocreatestamps Beach design with starfish Custom by lovetocreatestamps on Etsy Hope this can help out some other brides!
  2. Very beautiful! I think fake flowers are great, that's what I'm doing and the best part is you can keep your bouquet!
  3. Congrats and welcome to the forum!
  4. It sounds very cute, but I like Jenise's little edits it makes it a bit easier to read it as well.

  13. Congrats and welcome to the forum! Do a search for Aruba, there is a thread dedicated to Aruba brides and I'm sure they'll be able to help you out.

I'm dedicating today to learning how to use vistaprint and starting our save the dates...wish me luck! I went back and forth between these 2 as well and finally chose DT, it was more cost affordable for guests and I based everything on May '10 pricing. I noticed while I was looking that April was significantly more expensive than May (not sure why). Now I'm just waiting on flight pricing. I almost have our STD's finished I've been assembling them all week, it only took 2 months to design..eek! So I can't wait to get them in the mail hopefully by tomorrow.
  15. Hoping one of you can help me, I have gone over and over my wedding packet info and the first few pages of this thread and I don't know if I'm just searching so hard I keep overlooking it, but I can't find where the price is for extending the reception an hour, anyone have this price readily available?
  16. It's completely preference and skin tone. I ended up with oyster, I was planning on white but my dress is so pretty is oyster and I love it.

  18. We're using tangerine and green apple, with accents of pinks and yellows. I think the pink and orange color scheme is great and as far as linens, just get white linens and throw in color with other decor.
  19. I like them both but I think I like the first one more because it pops a little more and your names stand out, so cute that it's Chris & Chris. Maybe you could try making the first one have a halo boarder of a different color in the orange or yellow to tie that in a little more?
  20. Congrats and welcome to the forum!
