    A lot of brides get legally married before their DW, I plan on doing this myself to avoid all the extra paper work. There are quite a few threads on this subject already so make sure you do a search before starting a new one.

    That's amazing! I've looked at those and was always worried about it because it would come in a lot more different colors than I would need, but now I think I will contact them and see about making sure I can get the colors I need.

    Congrats and welcome to the forum! Have you checked out the Dreams resorts? I know cost for our guests with great wedding options was our main concern and which is why we ended up going with Dreams. Good luck in narrowing it down.

    We both think it is a good idea. Now I just have to figure out where to go. I told him I wanted to go through a Church as I'm religious and he is not at all, but he does agree....mostly because they are usually free, lol. If I don't find anything though we'll be getting the workbooks to go through.

    2 years is not too soon at all. We've been engaged for a year and I booked out resort and I bought my dress 18 months out. Planning early gives you some time to space out the things that you're doing. Just don't rush into decisions.

    We knew we wanted a DW from the beginning and most of our family members did as well, so when we got engaged we just said hope you're ready for Mexico. I didn't really see a need to do it in a formal way, we just told people as we told them of our engagement.

    yeah mine came from Canada, I was very specific about where it could come from. I did way to much research in the area of blood diamonds in college to risk it.

    I looked into them awhile ago bc I was very specific with my FI about where he could buy a diamond for me. I know people that have some moissanite and it looks great. The main difference in the look of man made diamonds are the differences between natural and artificial lighting. Sometimes in the sunlight they can have a more yellow tint to them.
