  1. I just had a question pop up from reading someone's review on trip advisor about their daughter's wedding. Were any of you past brides charged an additional fee when using your credit card to have the funds exchanged to pseo's?
  2. I'm glad you were able to get new ones with no trouble. The style you ended up going with is the one I've been looking at, however, I just ordered samples from them for the 3 types I'm looking at and I would suggest that other brides order samples first (only pay for shipping). I love the idea of the stickers, I think I'll definitely look into that to save some money!
  3. My My BM's are going to be walking into 'somewhere over the rainbow', I'm not sold on anything yet for myself but currently I'm really liking the vitamin string quartet's version of Led Zepplin's stairway to heaven. I think this fits since all the other ceremony music we are having is Apocolyptica doing Metallic songs.
  4. I'm just now seeing this, but yes I did end up just using my paypal acct. and it went through. FI's suit arrived yesterday....and it's a disaster. It doesn't fit at all, we measured him 3 times and I mostly had his mom do the measuring since she's more in tune with sewing and things. So now I'm upset that I wasted $125 on something that won't fit him. So if anyone is in need of a beige linen suit for their FI and he's just slightly smaller than mine this one is already made! haha. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it. I told him he's going to men's wearhouse and we'll let them measure him this time since we obviously screwed up somewhere.
  5. ok I could have just put this all in one post, but I just thought of something so I know it's $3 per chair or whatever for them to put on the chair sash, is that the same or is that in addition to the $3 pp decor fee?
  6. I just emailed Aurora and asked her to move our ceremony back a 1/2 hour so that we could have more time for pictures and she went ahead and confirmed it. Also the music has to be shut-off by 10:30. So I would just email her and tell her the exact time you want your ceremony to begin.
  7. HI! My bff actually went through your exact situation a couple years ago. She is from the U.S. her now husband is from Luxembourg. She moved to Lux to be with him and they had a civil ceremony there so they would be legally married so she could stay in the country. Then they planned a DW, they threw around the ideas of the US and Europe and ultimately decided to hold their wedding in a completely 'neutral' country that way regardless of who was going was going to be traveling. They held an engagement party in the states for everyone here that wouldn't be going to the wedding, and a post-wedding BBQ in Lux for everyone there that didn't attend. They held their actual wedding 9 months after their legal one in Thailand.
  8. Hi, I'm getting married May 6th! So I'll be there for your wedding too! I had my wedding scheduled at 5 when I first booked but then I decided to change it to 4:30 just to give a little extra time for pictures and in case which of course something is sure to not go as planned. I'm starting dinner at 6:30 and paying for an additional hour to make sure we have plenty of time to dance.
  9. Welcome to all the new May brides, I've added you to our list for the next time it's updated!
  10. I love it! I've seen them on etsy and didn't even think of making them myself I was just going to forego it all together to eliminate the cost, but after seeing these I think I may take a stab at it. Great job!
  11. I'm kind of in love with the cupid shuffle, I will also definitely be having that on my play list as well as the Cleveland shuffle.
  12. Along with the macarena, YMCA, chicken dance, I will add - the electric slide - my heart goes on - hokey pokey - I will always love you - white wedding - jesse's girl - abba songs - celebration - every breath you take
  13. I used a template from another bride, but I just used it for sizing which I ended up manipulating that as well. I completely cleared the template to a white background and designed it specific to what I wanted in photoshop. I printed everything at Kinko's the inside pages are double sided, and assembly was pretty easy once it was all cut out. I used adhesive and glue dots to put it all together.
  14. Here's the centerpieces I have chosen to go with, and I will also be using the bouquets as centerpieces on the head table.
