  1. Congrats and welcome! This is one of the locations we are still debating on, so I can't wait to hear all about your wedding in just a few more months!
  2. Welcome to the forum! A great help to a lot of brides on here.
  3. Ok I've read a lot of good things on both the Colonial and the Palace, but I'm having a really hard time deciding which one to stay at. Primarily because I know there are many guests that would rather stay at the Colonial due to price. Also because I'm planning on doing a lot of things myself (i.e. centerpieces, flowers, etc, and bringing them with me) I don't find it necessary to spend an extra grand on a wedding package however, that extra grand gives me a beach reception instead of a banquet room. What are the receptions like in the banquet rooms for anyone that had that? If anyone has suggestions on location or some feedback on whether I should splurge for the beach reception I would really appreciate it. I just want to figure out my location and package and move on to more fun things!
  4. Your pics are gorgeous! That location is amazing, they definitely need to be published in something!

  8. I like #2 the best it's much easier to read. p.s. love the colors too, green and orange is also what I'm using!
  9. The white weddings look awesome and make great pictures! I don't think you could go wrong with but just add color like mentioned either with a sash or your flowers. If you're going to use hair flowers you could even think about using a color as opposed to white to help you stand out more.
  10. Welcome to the forum!
  11. Congrats and welcome! You will find a lot of great info on this forum, including the legal requirements. You can also find this located on any of the resort websites under their Weddings section. Typically it's being on location 4 days before the wedding (not including arrival day of and Saturday or Sundays, also excludes any national holidays), you will also need a blood test (this is done when you arrive and can be set up by your WC), passports, any other documents if either of you has been married before, and passports and birth certificates. Good luck with your planning!
