I don't think you are behind Nan, I've been planning for 2 years otherwise I'd probably have nothing. I think if you really like the orange and purple color scheme then you should go for it. You can always incorporate the earth tones into your accents.

I got everything off etsy. The bracelet asn't custom just something I found while searching on etsy and fit closely. My earrings arrived yesterday and they are perfect, now just waiting on the bracelet to arrive so I can make sure the pearl colors match.

I broke down and did it, I got the mugs for my OOT bags. I have a pretty good idea of how many people are coming so I just went for it! I also just bought my jewelry I was looking for a specific pair of earrings I had seen on someone's pictures so I put an alchemy request to have some made very similar to what I was looking for, and below is what a seller came back with for me! I love them, and I also got my bracelet. I also ordered my garter set, FI is a Miami Dolphins fan

I actually found her from another bride on the forum. Here is her website http://www.floresjulieta.mex.tl/217534_rental-centerpieces.html she is willing to do whatever you want and can do a lot more than just flowers too if you are interested in anything else. She does bouquets, but I had already ordered real touch bouquets a few months ago from Angel's Accents. I sent Julieta the pictures of my bouquets as well so she had a clear idea of what direction I was going in.

True if I'm already paying for her to be there I might as well get my full $90 worth! I've thought about switching to the free package and just adding stuff on, but I totaled what my cost would be with doing the free wedding and it's a lot more expensive than just keeping the package with the extras like my photog, DJ, and an outside florist. Which is kind of sad, but this woman has been great she's doing these centerpieces for $45 each where DT quoted me $240 each!!!

I need some advice on hair and make-up. I have it included in my package but I'm considering using someone else, the woman that is doing my centerpieces also does hair and make-up including a trial. Based on experiences anyone has had would you recommend to keep the hair and make-up included in the package and just schedule a trial or to use someone completely different and just have it done in the room?

I guess you could say my OOT bags are my favors. I personally don't really like favors, so in lieu of the traditional favor on the table they will have a maraca that they can shake for a kiss, and there will be a card stating that FI and I have made a donation in their honor to one of our favorite charities.

Congrats on your engagement and welcome to the forum!! I would suggest a wedding coordinator just for the sake of it is a DW and it can become very difficult trying to put everything together from far away. Usually though most places have an on-site coordinator to help you along with the process so continue your research and just send and send emails! Also do a search on this forum for venues in Cabo, you have stumbled into a wealth of information here. p.s. don't forget to refer to your now former gf as your fiance, I know she'll appreciate it!

I so want to buy all my OOT items but can't because I as most of you have no idea exactly how many people are coming. I'm assuming 20-25 max now since apparently grad school graduations are more important than my wedding . That's ok though, it will just save me some more money if they aren't all coming. Our GM's are booked, and FI's mom and her best friend. My BM's are waiting on funds even though I've tried to convince them they only need to pay $200 right now. My parents are not booked, my mom is still working on her passport which I have called and nagged her about for almost everyday for the past 3 months. As for shipping things down to the resort I have thought about doing that. I'm going to wait though and see how much stuff I really have to take with me in March and if it's a lot I'll ship it down before hand.

His suit size is 40R for the jacket, we actually just bought him a new suit for work this evening. Pant size 34, he's 5'11. If you want the exact measurements that we used I can send them to you.
