I hate to pay to have a photographer there and then be told they can't take pictures. Sorry, but it seems to be different for everyone...... Thanks for the help!! When talking to the WC she let me know that we can use an outside photographer as long as they are a guest at the resort. Which works great for me because I'm not comfortable using a resort photographer. You don't have to pay for Photo Caribe at all, this is what I was told.

Welcome to the forum! You'll find a lot of great info on here.
  5. You can wear whatever you want, after all it is your wedding! I know two women that one just got married in blue and the other is getting married in a couple of weeks in red, so your choices are endless, I think black would be very elegant.
  6. Congrats and welcome to the forum! I agree with a lot of other posts already you need to ask your FI what is "good enough" for him. You really won't want to choose Europe if you want to keep costs down for your guests. I chose Mexico after a very long time of researching places. I originally wanted Belize because you can get married on a Mayan Temple there. However, due to Mexico having great flight deals and a ton of AI resorts we figured it was the best bang for our buck (plus his great grandfather is from Mexico so I guess it does tie in). Mind you we don't really want Mexican culture involved. If we can we want more Scottish influence in our wedding than anything, but Scotland was out of the budget. I would suggest the USVI, there are some beautiful places and they still have AI and I'm sure you could find something cliff side. I hope you reach your decision on your perfect location! Good luck with the planning!
  7. I'm going to do 1 bag per couple, and then for the two children they will each have their own bag full of sand pail and water shoes, games, and other stuff.
  8. I'm sorry to hear about the fight and how you are feeling. I'm sure this will blow over and it will just be one of those tough times that the two of you go through. At least you can see the positive in the little things, I'm glad you got your steak! I understand what you mean with wishing that you could just blow things over instead of being angry and letting it get out of hand. I've totally been there where I get to that point and I'm thinking why am I this mad, yet I just can't let it go still. I'm sure he'll talk when he is ready, remember when guys get really mad the last thing they want to do is talk right away and sort things out they need some time and space to just think and vent on their own.

  10. I grew up in the country and always had outdoor/indoor cats. I personally can't stand having cats inside (FI is begging for a cat but I told him never going to happen, unless it goes outside) That's just me though, don't get me wrong always loved my cats just don't like them inside very much, I'm a dog person. The way you keep it as an indoor/outdoor cat is by first training it inside with it's litter box, after it has that down which won't take long then you just start letting it outside. Remember cats are smart and if they are shown their areas they aren't going to run off. Out cats love being outside but they love to come inside too...sometimes they will dart in before you can even realize what's happening. Good luck!
