You are the closest I have seen to our date on the 30th. How far are you from Vancouver? We are actually temp. relocating to Vancouver either in April or May or after the wedding for about a year (FI work)?!! It would be great to have a friendly face in the area when we move!! Good luck with everything! Hope to chat with you soon! Everyone- Is anyone dealing with Aurora as their WC? I have'nt seen any reviews for her on this site yet?!! Thanks!

Congrats to you fellow Dreams Tulum bride!!

Pierre Visual Studio - Wedding Photography- Mayan Riviera- Playa del Carmen - Home - Wedding Photographer Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! For the info about your florist! We are getting married at Dreams Tulum and I feel that they aren't going to have the "look" that I am wanting as far as flowers are concerned. So hearing that the cost is less than others is PERFECT!! Thanks again and Congrats!!

And if ddk5576 lets us know when exactly she'll be here, we can plan for maybe March..? I know, I know...who knows where and what we'll all be doing in March...but just though I'd gauge the enthusiasm/lack-of :-) I think that would be great!! We should know more by January, concerning our move date. The plan so far is to get him there and meet a property manager that can give him a list of homes that he can then bring home and we can narrow down the possibilities. Then I will go up a week later and we will knock out the houses and hopefully find one that weekend. I in the meantime will be packing up some of the necessities, so we can rent a uhaul type trailer & load it up and pull it behind the Audi while we transport our 3 labs across country - Whew, that is going to be a journey in itself!!! So, I will definitely need several drinks after we get settled!!! I will keep everyone informed as I know more! Yey!! Having you all here has definitely taken a lot of stress off of me with the move. I have been in SC since 1988 from FL. As I am super stoked for the move, it is scary too! Having a great support system with my FI (he is the greatest) and you lovely ladies, this transition should be smooth!! Thank you ALL!! Hope you all have had a great week so far! TTYS!
  11. Michael- Thank you! Much appreciated! Princess402- Thank you too! March/April 2010 - Which will be just after the Olympics. Sita&Nate- Woohoo! May brides! You look oh so cozy with that Koala - where did you guys take that pic?! Vancouver? tammikins- I have been in the south for so long, moving seems like a great new adventure that I am definitely up for!!(we are looking at March/April) But surfing?? Skiing, ok, I get that, but aren't the avg. highs only 56-F...oh yeah, I am going to have to catch up & refresh on the metric system....Yikes!! But, I think if I can get Spanish down for the wedding, then I can convert C-F just fine?!?! It is so wonderful to have some friendly people to talk to! I love this forum! You all have a great week! TTYS!!
  12. Very helpful! Less than 6 months til our wedding and I am afraid these details will catch up to me and I won;t be prepared. But thanks to you and others for the input and guidance! I am hopefully going to be less stressed as time goes by!
  13. Thanks for all of the input ladies!! My FI and I are having a discussion about this currently. He thinks it's tacky to have a shower bc we are asking people to come to the wedding, which is gift enough. However, I feel that those that are being invited, but cannot attend the wedding in Mexico, should still be able to attend a shower, so they will feel "included" in events that lead up to the wedding, even though not attending. I feel better about having a Jack & Jill shower, and then asking those attending the wedding to not bring gifts. Thanks again ladies! You all are always so helpful!!
