  1. Congrats! Cozumel has beautiful beaches and the water is crystal clear, so a beach wedding there would be really pretty. I would just shop around - read reviews from other brides, scope out pictures, and decide what type of place you want. The options are endless! Good luck! Happy planning!
  2. If you like planning, you can definitely find a ton of great ideas here! Welcome!
  3. Congrats and welcome! Lots of brides have weddings in Jamacia, so it much be a pretty awesome place!
  4. Very exciting news! Sounds like you got a great deal. It's awesome your guests jumped on board so quickly!

I've heard the girl who helped me out is on the show: Audrey Pisani. I had her full attention for the 1.5 hours I was there. It took me 30 minutes to select dresses with my sis and about 45 minutes to try on 10-15 dresses. The last 15 minutes I was basically finalizing my decision, which wasn't too hard to make. There was another Nicole Miller dress that was to die for, but it wasn't very wedding-y. The secret is trying not to describe it to the FI! I'm so bad at keeping secrets! I am so jealous you went dress shopping at Kleinfeld! Did Randy pull any dresses for you? I absolutely love "Say Yes to the Dress." My friends who have already walked down the aisle say not to watch it after you buy your dress though because you might start having dress envy!
  6. I am nervous about waiting until spring to look for clothes too. I think it's best to buy summery stuff as it goes out of season - especially if you see something you like. I will be too stressed waiting until next spring. I do have a little advantage living in Florida because we typically have beachy attire year round.
  7. At least the big waves crashing on the beach will make for great pics! Looks like Ana and Bill are heading north - we will all keep our fingers crossed though.
  8. Congrats! Is this your 10th year anniversary of dating?
  9. I definitely agree with a card. If you have the info ready for making reservations, I would include it, otherwise the facts about the destination is a cool idea. You could even pick a solid color card stock if you want something plain. Just use a craft knife and cut slits so the magnet can fit in it. I love the magnets and envelopes! Great job!
  10. I think you should go with whatever matches your dress best and not worry about being matchy matchy with your wedding party. Pictures would probably be better for advice though...
  11. I like the starfish or flip flop idea ... especially for the beach. Thanks for sharing the links!

    hi

Congrats and welcome! You might not be able to open attachments, but lots of the posts have pictures for inspiration. I found more great invitation ideas than I have things to send out invites for! Happy planning!
  13. I like that term - it sounds very earthy - and if it's anything like the celeb who did it, the wedding will be truly glamorous
  14. My diamond is my fiance's great grandmother's - it's from the early 1900s and was actually cut with other diamonds. I love that it has such a history! He took the diamond out of another ring and had it set in this platinum band And I definitely agree these pictures don't do the rings justice. Mine is much sparkilier in person!
  15. Congrats! I definitely don't think you will be disappointed in such a beautiful location!
  16. I originally took them to Kinkos to have them printed, but they wanted $80 for 60 copies, so I said "No thank you" and printed them at home. We were worried they would use up a ton of ink, but they didn't even drain the ink cartridge we had in our printer and it was only 1/4 full. I would definitely recommend printing them at home - even if you have to buy a printer to do it, it will still be cheaper!
  17. I think your location sounds great for an AHR - a casual atmosphere is a great way to celebrate and everyone feels comfortable!
  18. Congrats! Sounds like you are off to a great start!
  19. That's a beautiful dress! I think the heat and sweat will definitely be worth it!
