I agree with a everyone on here- if your BM's like it, that is a bonus within itself! It is a gorgeous dress, I don't think you will regret it

Congrats! I think the hardest thing to do is to pick a location. I was all over the place with that. I knew I wanted it in Mexico. But where from there? I did research on that location and thought it was it. THEN, I found out (not from my own research, but from friends) that the water was cold and not really good to swim in. I should have figured, it being on the Pacific side. That changed the game, and eventually we chose Playa. My FI has been there (we originally wanted him to go somewhere new) but he has always loved it and said it would be just what I was looking for. NEXT was the resort. I based it purely off of Tripadvisor. It is a little more pricey than I would have originally liked, but it was really rated high, and it is gorgeous! SO... I guess that's how we got started. Also, I am fortunate enough to have SEVERAL (10+?)brides that I have found on this thread getting married at the same resort before me!! 1 just posted her review and it was great,... so all in all, I am very happy with my choice. GOOD LUCK!!!!

I think you can incorporate both for different things since they are the same theme, love them both!

I agree with Ellis- I've seen the magnets be attached to an index like card that has printing on it, and little slits where the magnet can fit into. They're super cute!! Great job!

Oh, and Paige- have not booked Elizabeth Medina yet-- still waiting to get my deposit together. We're moving to save some $$ until the wedding and we're moving back home to Denver-- but then also the FI's expensive tires needed replacing. When it rains, it pours!! I really hope she's still available...

Josie your invites look fantastic! I absolutely adore that shirt from express. That's exactly what I was thinking, but my FI is dead set on wearing a linen suit. Fine with me! Katie: I like the 1st shirt-- are you going to have him wear a flower or anything to jazz it up a bit?

I say go for it!! As the other ladies said, you can go into town, or whatever makes you feel comfortable. I really want to do it, but will not for 2 reasons, 1. the FI is totally against me ruining my dress, and I could get another like everyone has said, but to my next reason, 2. We're planning on getting Elizabeth Medina, and I just cannot afford the second session!! Oh well, the price I pay (pun intended) for getting the photog that I adore

You have no idea. Since this posting I have actually removed the lime and turquoise from my colors which means I need to go ribbon shopping for my STD's. Now what am I going to do with 30 yards of lime and turquoise ribbon cut into 6 " strips!? Use it for future projects I suppose... people getting bday cards may notice a pattern....

Jannae and Ryan Riu Palace Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen What made you choose this destination?: I wanted to do it at an all inclusive, and wanted the water to be warm, and it is not on the Pacific side!! Chose the hotel based off of trip advisor reviews… Wedding Date: July 6, 2010 What made you choose this date?: Kind of like you ladies—my grandmother drives a school bus, and two of our good friends are teachers. Also, it is near the holiday weekend, so everyone else will have an extra day off! Have you decided on your wedding colors? If so, what are they?: Magenta and Orange with touches of lime and turquoise. Love your colors Mandy!- mine may be a little circus like, but I’m ok with it! What is something unique about your wedding?: Our nieces and nephews is our entire bridal party- and I told the oldest (7yrs) neice that she can pick the dresses- she is SO excited Tell us anything else about yourself and/or your wedding: Our save the dates are going out within the next couple of weeks, they have been such a project! They are the FI’s idea, we are sending ‘shot kits’ to everyone (personalized shot glasses, shots of tequila, and a STD card). We are not doing invites, just felt it wasn’t necessary. Accepting all RSVP’s on our website. I have a TA lined up, I am using one from this site, and she seems great so far!! She has given me rates just recently, and said that they ‘price match’ which is comforting. She hasn’t given me a time limit for guests to book yet. I should probably ask. I have my dress picked out online, but will not buy it until December or January. Have some lbs to lose!! Photographer is picked out (Elizabeth Medina) but I won’t have the $ for her downpayment until next month. I HOPE she is still available. WOW I’m in TOTAL limbo right now! Angela: I totally feel your pain. I change my mind pretty much daily about things!!

I love the Windsor Pilates DVD's, they will make your stomach so flat, and tone everywhere else! There is also a thread going around right now for the diet, 'cheat your way to thin' that I'm going to start this weekend. Just to try something new! Good luck!!
