OMG FI and I started watching this show last week, ended up buying season 1 on itunes, and watched it all in a week!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are addicted, now looking forward to buying season 2 to catch up. I totally agree- sometimes it's too intense!

Haha, KarenM-- Stalk away!!! The most recent post was kind of like a personal stalker- I mean SHOPPER! j/k, but it's so nice to see what other people find online, rather than the same old sites I normally use! My original colors were fuschia, orange, turquoise and green! It's like we took my crazy notion and split it into two cohesive wedding color combos

Sammysgirl- hopefully you're still out for your bachelorette!! And trust me, no matter what music combo you choose, it will be great- Since you gave the option, I think getting the harp music recorded for the ceremony (great idea Adrienne!) and using the $$ for excursions would be what I would do. Just IMHO anyway! Samira- UUUGH the 'outside photographer' fee has been haunting me since Oct when I first started to book mine. A girl that no longer works there told me that I would have to pay $100 for them to come in for the day. Then I read in a thread here that the Riu was changing their policies and not letting in outside vendors. I freak the F out, and try to get ahold of them to confirm (at this point, have put a $1800 non refundable deposit by the way!). The new girl tells me that this is not true, and that they are still allowed, but with a fee. OK FINE. So I actually forgot about it because I had already booked my photogs room for them (figuring that no matter what, they would be there). Then just last week, I emailed to see what the final verdict was. Newest info- $200 fee, but since they are staying at the resort for the night, they don't have to pay anything.... So at this point, I am going with the newest info........but it seems that it could change at any moment!! Sorry for the longest explanation ever! And I'll definitely keep you posted on info as it unfolds. I have to admit though- even with the mis-info/communication, I am still more than excited that I chose this resort. Every wedding photo I've ever seen from here has been fab- and I've never heard a disappointed bride!!

Oh no Sammysgirl, what a decision! I take it your parents aren't going for both. Hmmmmm... I don't think I can do both either, and I'm sticking with the mariachis at the cocktail hour. I originally thought it would be fun to have them play while guests arrive to the ceremony, and while we walk down the aisle to give a fun feel, but then I realized that they'd just be standing there for the 20 min or so ceremony, and we're paying for their time! That's just my reasoning---- I wish I could do both though!!!!! oh and BTW- looks like we have the same weight loss goal, and are at the same point with it! I've lost 20, and have 10 more to go! WOOHOOO! and Congrats to you!

I received an OOT bag on a DW that I went to a few years back- nothing as elaborate as what I've seen on here, but it was sunscreen, hangover kit, some other stuff. Honestly, I didn't use any of it, because I had brought all of the stuff myself in my normal packing routine. I think it's a great idea, but in order to avoid the same thing, we sent shot glasses and tequila as our STD/invites, and 3 weeks before we will send out luggage tags, guests will receive welcome books and personalized cups for when they arrive to the hotel, then maracas, fans, hotsauce for the wedding portion (I know...we're hotsauce fiends!) It seems to be more spread out-- but as everyone has said----- do what is best for your wedding! Trust me, whatever you do, it will be great!

Aren't our colors the best!? Suits my personality so well! (as I'm sitting here in my fucshia shirt!)
