  2. OMG I'm so sorry to hear this!!! I don't know what I would do if my dog got lost... they truly are family. Hoping for his safe return! Oh, and what a Jerk that kennel owner is. I hate when people try to turn things around when THEY did something wrong!
  3. Anyone know what happened to this show??!!?? I had my dvr set to record, and it's not on anymore?
  4. Cool NSbride! I am doing my first 'formal' run in the middle of May, and your wedding is a week before mine! I am not looking forward to the run to be honest with you. It's 7.4 miles, and I can barely run 3 now......... Looking forward to the motivation!!!!

A...Yes, but only if you are planning to get married in Mexico. Tests of HIV and syphilis, Gonorrea, Herpes and all the STD's are required and must be perform by a certified doctor. Your on-site wedding coordinator will arrange the doctor's appointment in your hotel room. You can not take the blood test in your country and bring the results to the Resort. The cost of the blood test is included in the wedding package price. Okay so i maybe sounding stupid here but we have to have tests done i get and understand that but i was under the impession it was just a blood test? How does a blood test determine all the others? Surely if i needed to go for a STD test here i wouldnt just get a blood test, i would be subject to an unpleasent 10 mins of prodding and poking? And if this is the case then its just the way it is but if they do need to prod and poke can my FI stay with as i would be a bit unsure in a foreign country with a doctor thats not my own? Sorry for rambling?? Hope this makes sense what im trying to say. Hope you can help x THANK YOU x x x I was very weary about all of this too, that's why FI and I are doing legal day beforehand, and in MX we're doing the 'symbolic' ceremony and you don't have to do blood tests for that. Other ladies might be of more help though!

It looked like a lot of girls wore mostly sports bras and shorts or workout pants... ladies please correct me if I'm wrong...I also plan on wearing the exact same outfit in the before and after. Just so I can see how much progress has been made... I'm also going to measure my inches lost before and after. This is a very encouraging tool when you know that your clothes are fitting looser, but the number on the scale is frozen!
  7. Is, and always has been- Pizza! But when I start the BDW biggest loser, it's OUT for me... Are you inviting extended family to your DW?
  8. I'm doing a postcard guestbook, and I'm putting it out during the cocktail hour where we will have champagne and cigars...as for getting it back.... I just thought I would have a table where we could set it up. I'm sure my crazy FMIL will guard like a hawk
  9. Moving back home to Denver!! I miss my fam and friends SOOOO Much!! How many states have you lived in?
  10. I PHONE all the way!! Excited about the Ipad release at all tomorrow? (FI will be there at 800 am to get his!)
  11. Steaks on the grill- FI has an amazing recipe that makes them so wonderful and juicy! Favorite guilty pleasure food?
  12. American Pie: Sean William Scott
  13. This is what I put on my website: Ceremony and reception attire is "Beach Chic." For the girls this means flowy sundresses and skirts, and for the guys this means linen or khaki pants/shorts with lightweight colorful shirts. Suits and ties are not necessary, unless you really want to. Who are we to deny your suave style!? We do request that you do not wear t-shirts or jeans. For shoes we suggest something comfortable, such as sandals or flip flops.
  14. Pain: broken bone (my orignial answer was pain: in the ass.... but I didn't want to put the next person through that one!)
  15. It's temporarily out of stock on the Kate Spade website, but it's called the sea island starfish ring......
  16. Alright- I think I put WAY too much thought into this. I will be putting Dad on the book! If people have questions, they can ask
  17. KimmyG- we're just creating a playlist to play while the guests are arriving, and for when we walk down the aisle. I'm a huge fan of old standards- Sinatra, Etta James, Tony Bennet, so that will be while the guests are arriving. Then FI wants me to walk down the aisle in good ol traditional canon in D major. We'll just bring those on a CD. I've also heard that the resort has good songs on CD that they let you use for the aisle walk too. Yay Nicola! Ugh, I remember the waiting for the prices to come out- it seemed like it took forever! But when they do come out, you really feel like you can get rockin and rollin- like it's more official even though it's not!!
  18. Thanks ladies- but my Mom won't be attending my wedding- otherwise that would have been perfect-o!!

  21. Ladies, Ladies- Again, I need some opinions (I feel so needy!!). Here is the story: My Grandparents raised me. I lived with them for 75% of my life, and owe them the full credit of every opportunity I've had. My step-dad has been in the family since I was 5, and he is the father of my two younger sisters. When I was young, we never got along. But now that I'm older, we've gotten a lot closer. I have never CALLED him 'Dad' but in the past 7 or so years, I've referred to him as Dad to not make him feel bad referring to him as StepDad. He has always told me that he felt like I was his daughter. Not to mention that he is SO stoked about his DAUGHTER getting married. So the question: My Grandpa is walking me down the aisle, hands down. I'm making welcome books with a 'Meet the Guests' page- and wanted to say who people were to us under their name......I don't know what to do in regards to my StepDad!? I don't want to put that title, but for the guests that don't know the full story, I would hate for them to think bad of the fact that my Grandpa is walking me down the aisle instead of my 'Dad'.... Thoughts? Thanks as always ladies, for the advice!!!!
