Angela--I am not using an outside planner...just hoping for the best!!! I have a conference call with them next week!! I just hope everything goes smoothly there...I have been getting overwhelmed with the change in planners/lack of organization...let's hope its temporary!! What date did you get married?? I'm getting married there in October, and so far, things have been great in the planning process. You're right in that they don't do an open bar option...you pay per drink, which is going to be very costly!! Eek! But, the hotel is gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. Sergio, although I thought he was great, is no longer with Cabo Azul. The new planners are Carolina, Bertha, and Isabel. I'm not sure how I feel about them yet, as things are now moving really slowly. Hope this helps! And, Alanna, thanks for the positive feedback! Hello! I just booked my 10-16-10 wedding at Cabo Azul! SOOOO excited!!!!

Thanks your review!!! I just booked my wedding at CAR for 10-16-10! So far, I'm very pleased with the team at Pacific Monarch and Cabo Azul! We went for a site visit about a month ago, and this resort literally took my breath away. We are currently in the menu-planning stages...so if anyone has any Javier's favorites, please let me know! I also appreciate your suggestions on restaurants in the city! Most of our guests will stay in Cabo for a week--so we want to give them lots of options!! How was the DJ at CAR?? Any thoughts?? Thanks so much again!! I can't tell you how helpful this review was (def know what to look out for!) and also how helpful all of you girls are! Thank you!! I'll keep everyone posted on Cabo Azul Wedding Plans! The countdown is on...exactly one year from tomorrow!!! All best!

Hi Everyone! I was referred to this forum from a friend who recently got married at Dreams in Cabo! I, too, am thinking about having my wedding at Dreams next fall (Sept 2010) *any idea on temp? and would love to hear any/all referrals or advice! I'm living in Los Angeles with my fiance! We've got a lot of work ahead of us, but luckily lots of time to plan! I was wondering how soon I needed to book Dreams?? I have never been to Cabo, and definitely want to check it out before commiting, but I don't think I can get out there until January! Cutting it close??
