Any Riu palace las americas brides out there ? I am getting married at RPLA in september, not much being said about it on this site at the minuite! Just wondering if there is anyone getting married there soon or just been married there ? Would be great to hear off you.

i asked that question and they said it is a semi private meal, you cant have your own music . i am getting married at RPLA in sept but there is people in this forum that have alredy been married there which will prob get back to you with more info.

hi . hope hope everything was perfect for you amdecker ! cant wait to see your pics and hear a run down of your day . i have just been reading through our wedding brochure and it says included in our packege are the marrage certificate, marrage licence and all registrar fees and there is no need to register our marrage once home ! Does this mean we are legally married or not ? it will be a civil ceromony what we will be having and says it is completely legal under british law. why do you have to make yours legal one home ? I am a bit worried now . I thought one married there that was it ! xx

hi leo17. is it this year you get married ? We have just got a wedding pack from travel agents and it says all documents required must be translated by a solicitor and signed and stamped by a solicitor. hope this is of help to you . if you contact your travel agent or wedding coordinater i am sure they will give you a definate answer.

wow your pics are great, i was thinking of hiring RPLA photographer and now i know that i definatley am and i can stop worrying !! What did you do after your wedding ? I was really worried also because there is only about 15 of us going and thought the pics would be a bit naff but again your pics have put me at ease because the photos are great of you all stood together. Thanks sooooo much for putting this thread on it has been great to read ! When you say 550 for the photographer is that pounds or dollars ? Did you just let them know you wanted them when you got there or did you book them in advance ? i am just deciding what to do about music now ! What did you do ? Thanks again .

Thanks for your feedback and websites. Both photographers look great. We booked the royal package with thomson and get 12 photos with that i think and was just thinking of upgrading that with RPLA photographer. So not long for you now then, Bet you extatic !!!!! I will be with just a month to go ! What setting are you planning on having on the beach ? I seen some pics on trip advisor of a couple getting married on RPLA beach and they were stood infornt of a arch with all beauriful flowers on it . It looked amazing . Is there many of you going ? Do you know what time you getting married yet? Do you have the full day planned ? Sorry about all the questions but its nice to talk to people who are/have shareing the same experience!!! and know some info. Thanks again .

Hi there i am a september 2010 bride too. we decided on riu palace las americas in cancun, mexico. My cousin is off to jamacia in october to get married not sure where she is staying but when she comes back i will let you know how it was and i will ask her to send me some pics for you. Did you ever ask what would have happened if it rained on the day you got married ? I am planning to get married on the beach and it would be just my luck to go to mexico for a beach wedding and it rain ! Did it rain whils you were there ?
