  1. I absolutely love the colors! Everyone will look great standing together.
  2. I voted F, but I also like the idea of just wearing dangly earrings and your grandmother's ring.
  3. Thank you! This site is awesome. I will be sure to comparison shop with Michaels as well, but there is such a great variety on this site.
  4. Very nice! It will look great filled with sand and your rings. It totally looks like a capital "C" - I could tell before I read that you were worried it looked like "e".
  5. They look great! I will have to check at Michael's to see if I can find them (you have to love those weekly coupons!).
  6. Thanks for sharing, everyone. This thread has been very helpful!
  7. If you're worried about not being able to get a tungsten ring off, watch this video: YouTube - Tungsten rings - Emergency removal of a tungsten carbide ring I'm not sure I would want pliers like that coming at my finger, but it would be good to keep around just in case. There are several videos on YouTube showing different methods of breaking the ring off since it can't be cut like a gold or silver ring.
  8. It is absolutely stunning! Congratulations on finding THE dress!
  9. Everything looks great! I love the starfish ornaments - they will mean so much to your guests to be able to see them each year on their tree and remember what a wonderful time they had.
  10. I'm seriously considering parasols, but it may be because I've always wanted one! Cristi, you could have them use the parasols as they are walking down/up the aisle but close them while they are standing in the gazebo for the ceremony. They will be handy during pictures as well.
  11. Annette, I love your table naming idea with the photos as the centerpiece. I bet everything will look great!
  12. The table looks great, as does the centerpiece. The color combination is very classy yet still beachy.
  13. I have heard of others using sparklers as a send off but I guess that wouldn't work as a daytime wedding. Bubbles always look great and you don't end up picking it out of your hair like rice or birdseed. The popping streamer things look like a lot of fun too! Rose petals are just gorgeous and wouldn't need to be picked up. Trying not to be a downer, but I would caution against balloons if you are at or near the ocean since they end up bleaching in the ocean and turtles sometimes eat them and die.
  14. Great job! I bet your guests are really getting excited for the trip and will love getting an info packet in the mail. I love the stickers on the envelopes!
  15. They look awesome, but I bet they were time consuming. I love how each one is a little different.
  16. Great job on the luminaries! This is a great idea that wouldn't be too hard to pack & take with you on the plane. I wanted to add that right now is a terrific time to get LED tealights at craft stores in their halloween clearance section.
  17. I second the JCrew suggestion! They have a good variety of dresses with good prices. I wore a bridesmaids dress from them this summer, and it was really well made (and had pockets!).
  18. Spray tanning is "fake" tanning - basically just spray on color for your skin. It can look really nice as long as you don't overdo the color. If you go this route, I would try doing it now to see how it looks, and then you would go a short while before leaving for your wedding. Tanning beds use the UV lamp to actually tan your skin, but some say they are more dangerous than the sun. I burn easily, so I've never used them, but from what I've heard, you need to start short (5 minutes or so - your MOH may need to start out lower than that since she is more fair) and work up to 10-12 minutes at a time. If you burn, take a few days off to heal, and drink lots of water to keep your skin hydrated. You would want to start a month or two before leaving for your wedding to be able to build up the tan. I think they tell you to go a few times a week. They'll be able to help you out more at the tanning salon to give you a better schedule.
