  1. Did you order the return address labels and use them? Are they the right size for the chapstick?

We decided that since we're going to be on a beach for a whole week we might as well go somewhere where we can do nothing or do a lot of sight seeing. Depending on how exhausted we are What a great choice! We too are going to Europe, but we have decided on Italy. We are waiting until August to go (I am fortunately a teacher and have all summer off). We have the Mexico wedding in June, AHR in July and honeymoon in August. We didnt want tropical either.... we will get that at the wedding!
  3. Thank you for letting everyone know! I am nervous about making purchases and this is why.....
  4. I was going to buy these, but I made some postcards from Vista Print with common phrases from the book.... it saved A LOT of money!
  5. I love this! I am so glad I have been searching this site some more!!!
  6. I was going to use Roberta and she sent me some sample flowers, but to be honest, it was just not what I was looking for. I thought the flowers would look real, but to me they didn't. I didn't know what to expect from the silk flowers, but after seeing them I decided to stick with the real flowers. Although, this decision means I will not get the tropical flowers that I wanted (plumerias and orchids) because the real flowers are just TOO expensive! Roberta does have excellent prices though! I think it would have been under $400 for all the flowers I needed! I ordered a sample of an orchid, calla lily and plumeria and the calla lily looked phenomenal. The other two were the ones I was not pleased with.
  7. Those look great... I still don't know what to do for decorations!
  8. Thank you for all the suggestions. I think we will end up doing a hopper pass!
  9. I am still debating between satin and organza..... any suggestions?

Definitely not too early! And you are not too late, either! Welcome to the forum! If you are just having a small wedding with a few people I would recommend going through Dreams directly and not worrying about a travel agent. OR, contact travel agents and let them know you are just going with a group, not as a wedding. Once you say "wedding" everything changes!

One more thing, the cost was a BIG different for our guests. I want to say DRC ended up being about $45 cheaper per night per guest! That was a huge difference. Although, Moon Palace includes the tours. There are a lot of things you need to consider, and I know it is tough, but my advice is to go with what your gut tells you!

Welcome! I am having my wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun and I originally was deciding between this resort and Moon Palace. My reason for changing from Moon Palace was because of the beach. I did not like the pictures with so much seaweed in the background. When I looked at pics of MP from goggleEarth all you could see was dark spots in the water. However, I think MP would have ended up being cheaper because of their free private events.
  15. For the door hangs, I used the RACK CARDS because they are made of hard card stock, like a postcard. They are also the perfect size for a door hang!
  16. Where did you get the DIY travel mugs I love them!
  17. I wish I saw this thread earlier!!!! Great deals!!!
  18. Congratulations, this forum is amazing, I am sure you will find it to be wonderful!
  19. I cannot get the other document to attach..... it is the extra charge bouquets. I would recommend emailing Ana a pic of the bouquet you want. I found mine online and emailed it to her. They can do just about anything, it is just a matter if it is included in the cost or not. I am having hot pink calla lilies and they are extra.
  20. Here are the flower choices included in the package. I hope they uplaod... I have been having trouble uploading the documents. BOUQUET_INC[1].ppt
