So I agree weight loss is all about more calories expended than ingested... no magic pills or anything. I had a patient yesterday who lost 20 pounds in 3-4mo just by adhering to a diabetic diet and walking 3-4 days a week. For teeth whitening I planned to do Zoom but was told by my dentist that I'm not a candidate as I had cancer so instead I'm doing the trays and whitening gel. I saw results after 2 days. I like the listerine whitening rinse before you brush too. Ah Wendy I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. I'm glad he recovered so quickly though. I hope he continues to have good health! So you're not supposed to use Zoom? I had cancer when I was 3! Crazy! I'm going to look into that. I usually use crest white strips and plan to do that before the wedding. As far as weight loss goes, diet is the hardest part. People do not realize that what they burn is not as much as they think, and extra calories add up fast. I'm a marathon runner but am working on gaining muscle so I've been lifting weights 5 days a week instead of just 3 and also heavier weights. Cardio is great, but if you're just putting in the time and not the effort it won't get you the results you desire. Every time I do cardio it has a purpose. Ha, I'm obsessed with fitness and manage a personal training company, so I go off on the subject a lot......

She has a travel case full of antiseptic wipes, needles, and other stuff. What I liked, though, was that the needles were in plastic cases that were sealed and she says, "Now I show you that I break the seal." I did not feel apprehensive about it at all after that. The one thing I will warn you about is that she does not baby-fy you at all like they do in the states. She doesn't say okay now you'll feel pressure... yada yada yada. No, it's just WAM you're stuck. Hahaha thanks for that! I was nervous about everything being sanitary as well. How did you score the first appointment? I definitely want to do that! LOVED your review, your pictures are absolutely gorgeous!

I would love to show you all some pics she took of the trash the dress and the wedding, but I'm having issues uploading them on the site. All of the one's i've posted so far are from the resort photographer. Cecilia Dumas is amazing!! Now she is going to get a chance for her business to grow through all of this, I'm so happy for her! Wow I feel out of touch, I haven't been on the board all week, what's wrong with me? Your pictures are AMAZING! You look absolutely stunning, thanks for sharing! And that's so exciting about the bridal calendar and stylemepretty.com!!!

My FI is thinking of getting them engraved as they each have a stainless steel panel around them. The bummer thing is that they do have Bubba Keg written along the strip. The kegs are cheap as you may know but the engraving may get us. All my other suggestions for a gifts for the guys was shot down so I have not just decided that he is going to have to take care if it. Good luck on your search. Ahhh thanks girls! I looked at that site and they are so cute. Expensive but worth I may just have to go for it! Also, I think I will check out Walmart and some other places like that and see what I can find. I have a logo, how would I go about getting it on the mugs? I'm not good at stuff like that!
  10. So everyone provided me with great suggestions and I run into ANOTHER roadblock. All of these sites I'm finding have minimum orders of about 144 mugs or MORE. Does anyone know of any sites that do not have this? I only need 50 (and that's with extras) and seriously can't seem to find anywhere that will allow me to order those. I'm even looking to not have them personalized and just do the personalization myself but I'm not finding any. I'm just looking for the big plastic insulated mugs, the type you would get at a gas station pretty much, big and with a handle.

  13. Hmmm....good question. Not that I ever would cheat, but Bradley Cooper! Do you want to have kids right away or wait?

Did you not get a translated copy when you were there? I'm doing a legal and I just got assigned a new WC so I'll email her today!
  15. Kendra you look amazing! Love the pictures. The one of your dad and you dancing brought tears to my eyes. Congratulations!

What whitening product are you using? I'm def going to do that as well, and (gasp) give up coffee the month before. I have 8lbs to go to get to my ideal weight so I'm starting my hardcore diet July 10th. And starting with pedicures every 3 weeks. My feet are tore up from running so they need some major help to get into wedding shape!

  18. I JUST found this thread and LOVE it. Yikes, my confession is I secretly hope my fiance gets laid off or his company goes out of business. We get to move home when HE is ready, I've been ready for 3 years. We live in Las Vegas and I HATE it. I cry almost daily and wish on every star we would move, I miss my friends and family and not seeing hookers and showgirls in the gym every day.

Not much wedding planning this week, busy with other stuff: end of residency year cookout, friend from out of town, bunco on monday (11 neighbors at the house for apps/dessert) plus Fathers Day sunday... will worry about wedding next week. I'm feeling okay with the wedding stuff for now. Heartbeat, congrats on the baby and welcome to the group!! Ahhh I am jealous of sunrise kickboxing by the river!!! How amazing! Yeah my hair and skin turned so dry out here!! UGH! But that humidity is awful (I'm from Nebraska before here) so I feel your pain! What a fun fun week ahead! I think it's good on the sanity (and the fiances) if we all take some small (note: small) breaks from wedding planning. Heartbeat: I second the other posts. Welcome and congratulations!
  20. I actually miss humidity!! I live in Las Vegas and absolutely hate everything about living here. Wow, sorry to start off on that note. Wendy let us know how the mugs turn out!!! I'm just in the process of ordering mugs now. Ugh so many choices!!!!!!

I have been using Bliss No Ingrown hair product so it is supposed to be helping. I did it three days before the wedding and I had no problems. I also applied "No scream" Bikini wax cream 30 min before and took two tyenlols. I was posting on the waxing thread but it's more comfortable with my fellow Royal/Gran brides. Jess I heard to get a test run, with plenty of time for it to grow back. The 'growing out' phase is what I'm most nervous about. Yes on the tylenol (so I've been told). The lady I'm going to explains it pretty good if you're nervous: Bikini Waxing Las Vegas It puts a light hearted twist on it (just ignore the start when it talks about Vegas).
