LOVE the pics ladies!! Ah it goes SO SO FAST! Natalie you'll be in HEAVEN!!!!!!! Here we are:

Here we are! Jess, yes! We did legal and to tell you the truth I don't really remember much! We were going to do a sand ceremony and add something else in, but the day before Kenny bashed his head when we were swimming in a cenote so we spent the morning before the wedding in the hospital. So we didn't get to a few things we were planning on. Oh well, it all worked out. Oh, we ha the Mexican trio at the cocktail reception and they were great! I didn't have any appetizers but heard they were good. We had a violinist playing during the wedding, and they let us choose the music we wanted. We didn't get an extra hour at the reception but I wish we would have. We didn't have a DJ, just used an iPod but have no complaints The wooden dance floor the resort provided was great. Ah, the food at the reception was AMAZING!

Alright girls.....I'll try to post some pics tomorrow, I've been uploading all day and I think my husband wants a little computer time, haha! So the Royal is frickin' amazing. Like, if it were a woman it would be a supermodel! LOL, lame but wow, I was so impressed, as were all of my guests. We had 33 guests and 2 stayed at the Gran. It wasn't a problem at all though, and everything with them coming over worked out great. We received the room upgrade on the 3rd night (Luxury package) and had an ocean front. All of the rooms were wonderful so this wasn't a huge deal. I was so happy about everything that they probably could have stuck me in a basement and I would have been happy. The night before dinner at Maria Maria's actually turned out amazing. We had a miscommunication and they never booked us! But the manager worked with us and we arranged tables and everyone was happy and content. We were in our own area and ordered off the menu, it worked out perfectly! We sat outside at the Cigar bar afterwards, smoked some cigars and did our drinking. Oh, I got all of our guests bubba kegs and they were a HUGE hit!!!! I had Fernando and gang do my hair/make-up and my bridesmaids and mother's as well. Okay, Fernando was AMAZING! He was so fun and funny and numerous times had to stop what he was doing to bend over in laughter. One of my bridesmaids wasn't thrilled with her hair so they redid it no problem. I couldn't be happier, they did everything just how I asked, and better! A+++++++++++. PM me if you're considering them. Ivan Luckie did our TTD and our wedding. Ivan is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and so great to work with. His wife assists him and she is adorable and probably the sweetest person ever. Our TTD was challenging, since it was SOOOOO bright out and my FI (husband now I guess) has really sensitive eyes. Ivan made everything happen. My dress kept filling up with water while we were in the ocean and also kept coming undone (that's what I get for getting a cheap knockoff), and Ivan was so patient. On our drive back to the Royal I fell asleep, I was exhausted! On wedding day Ivan and his wife captured every moment I wanted! I haven't seen the pictures yet but he did show me a few on his camera and they were incredible. Plus he had to put up with all of us girls in my room for about 4 hours. He stayed through the reception and was wonderful. I couldn't be happier and would recommend Ivan to anyone looking for a photographer. PM me and I'll gladly give you his info. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++!!!!! I am so looking forward to the pictures! Lili, my wedding coordinator was AMAZING. She is so caring and takes a personal interest. My mom gave her so much crap to put out on the tables, as did I, and she did it above and beyond. She even went to Wal-Mart for us. I can't say enough about her. She's adorable and sweet and I just love her. If you get Lili feel lucky because she will be like a bridesmaid for you. Um, the cake was awesome. I think I ate 1/2 of it. Gross. I think I gained back all the weight I lost, lol. I saw 2 forum brides! We walked from our room to the beach, which involved going through the pool area. Everyone stopped and started clapping and cheering and hollaring for us (all positive things). I had goosebumps, it was such an amazing moment. I felt like a princess!!!! There were onlookers at the wedding but I didn't even care. Everything was perfect!! Crap I want to write more but hubby wants the computer. Ask me anything you need!!!

Hey ladies!! I still have to post my planning thread, lol, but I just want to tell you, The Royal is PERFECT. It was BETTER than I expected. I loved EVERYTHING. OMG. Now I understand how different it is once you go there as opposed to those of you who haven't been there yet. I'll post a review, but feel free to question bomb me. It was all of you who helped me.

AHHHH thanks girls! Jess you're the best! I'm still working on my planning thread, YIKES! I left everything until last minute, lol. I think it's all under control. Except this luggage situation, lol (there's just way too much of it). Hope everyone has a great weekend/week and any other brides have a great wedding! Thanks to all of you for everything!! This thread is the reason I'm so calm right now! FYI: First Brazilian was totally worth it, hehehe.

Hey does anyone know if there is spray tanning anywhere around the Royal???

Haha I haven't thought of anything except my wedding for the last month! Starting tomorrow and ending Tuesday I have seven appointments for myself. Wow, I feel like a diva for all that. How is the weather looking? I see some hurricanes but don't know what will affect where when.....

So I booked Maria Maria for the night before the wedding. We didn't want anything fancy, just a gathering of everyone. I just realized that it's at the Royal and I have four guests staying at the Gran. Will they be able to come to the meal? Cripes. Should I reschedule to somewhere in the Gran? Any strategies for this? I'm already paying $15/per person, blah.

LOL! Those arrows made me laugh! Oops, I just paid final payment last week and my wedding is October 10th. They sent me the final breakdown on everything and I mulled over it for a while. So you have some time.......

Thanks Jo!!! AHHH CRAZY!!!!!! Our days are coming SO SO SO soon! We leave the 6th. I keep watching the weather for our weekend, have you seen any? Â Ladies who have already been there, can you help me out? My sister is curious if there is a business center at the Royal. Are there computers with internet set up anywhere for the guests to use? Also, is there any spray tanning locations located near the resorts? Â I just got transferred to Lili this weekend so I'm hoping everything is smooth sailing. Â Any suggestions from anyone on where to move the party to on 5th street after our reception is over (10pm or 11pm)? This is my last week of work! I took Monday and Tuesday off to do all of my appointments and prepare! Â

Ugh I would be frustrated too!!!! I hope it all gets worked out so you get your wedding, and not 1/2 wedding 1/2 country concert!!! At least you know in advance so you have time to work it out. Â Yep, you can have the mexican trio and the soloist whenever you want. I'm having the mexican trio during the cocktail reception and having the soloist during the ceremony. There was never an issue with that, so you should have no problem! Â

Ahhhh thanks!! I totally think of the Chicago Marathon when I think of my wedding date, lol!!! I hope you're enjoying your taper! Â YAY! Good luck! You'll do great! I'm so jealous of everyone's races coming up! Â I just started training for the Vegas marathon 2 weeks ago. I did a 14 miler and 16 miler. 18 and 20 before I leave for the wedding. Then who knows how it will go when we get back...... Â

Totally agree on asking questions on here first! Â So I asked my WC today about having my makeup guy (Fernando) not have to pay a vendor fee because he'll be there less than 3 hours and she told me that unless they're guests they would have to pay a fee. How did you ladies work around this? ERRRRRRRR. Â

I freaked out about Fernando a few times and every time he pulled through. He marks them down right away, I think he is just busy and/or doesn't really get all email obsessed like all his crazy bride-to-be's do! I'll definitely let you know how everything turns out! I know, I feel like I should be stressing right now. I pretty much have everything done except some final details with the OOT bags and stuff like that. Weird how it's finally here (almost) after waiting for it for so long. I hope all the brides this weekend/week get good weather and miss those hurricanes/tropical storms!! Â

Don't stress about Fernando, he just takes some time to reply. I worried about it then realized that he's got everything taken care of. I know that it doesn't make it easier (to get a delayed reply or none at all) but I can assure you he'll come through! Â

I finally settled on Bubba Kegs. I worked with Firefly from: www.GetYourBubbaKeg.com and they were AMAZING! The mugs arrived in perfect condition right on time and the customer service was outstanding! I would recommend these to anyone. I bombed them with questions and they were so helpful.

Chong,  I'm in the same boat. That was one of two duties for FI and go figure, he hasn't yet....  Here are the playlists I am making (some will only have one song)  -First dance -Father/daughter dance -Wedding party dance -Cake Cutting -Main Playlist (mix of dancing songs and slow songs) -Fast song only playlist -Slow song only playlist  That was we can access everything fairly quickly. I may add a few more but that is the basics. Â

Wendy I am SO sorry to hear about this! Is he in pain? Oh no!!!! You wouldn't think that would be a dangerous thing but apparently not. I'm glad his face wasn't harmed (from the sounds of it). I hope you return to calmness soon. Keep us all posted!!! I'll be thinking of you! Â
