Ahhh I hope the weather stays good for all of you going down this weekend! I'll cross my fingers for you. Like someone else said, the rain usually passes fairly quickly! So when do we get our on-site coordinator? Is it just the week before the wedding or a little sooner? My TA can't even get ahold of Angie. Go figure. I can't believe a woman like her keeps her job at such a nice resort. Sorry, I'm incredibly bitter about Angie and her lack of compassion and communication.

Hey ladies! I've been trolling around here for way too long so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Nikki and I'm getting married at The Royal on October 10th. I'm a little concerned about the time of there ceremony. It's supposed to be 6pm but I would like to move it forward. Does anyone know what time the sun sets in October? I don't want to miss the sunset but don't want it to get dark too soon or worse, during the ceremony. Thanks so much in advance! Everyone has been SO much help already!

Hi Everyone! I'm getting married in Playa del Carmen in October. Recently my fiance and I have been getting worried about the violence towards American's that is going on in Mexico. I have been assured that it is mainly on the border but I wanted everyone's thoughts/opinions, especially if you are flying into Cancun and getting married around the Riviera Maya anytime this year. Are you concerned? Have you heard from the resort/wedding coordinator? I do not want to put any of our guests in harms way and this is really worrying me! Thanks in advance for your thoughts! Nikki
