RunningBride24 replied to FutureMsMoulton's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
456.8 + 48 (miles for the week ) = 504.8!! Whoever is running the NYC marathon in 2010 will LOVE it. What an amazing experience. I just ran it in 2009 and thought it was awesome! -

Hobby lobby and OfficeMax didn't have blank transfer paper but I found this on ebay: Grafix RUB-ON TRANSFER FILM. I also found an etsy seller who makes personalized waterproof stickers (not clear): Designer Label Gal Diva Boutique Graphic by designerlabelgal I feel like I need to get the cups soon bc you never know how long Dollar Tree will have things. I'm lovin' the Slacker Club! I FINALLY picked out my bridesmaid dresses. Poor girls only have until May 23rd to get measured and ordered to take advantage of the sale. Oops. Thanks for the help, I'm going to go check out the link now. Let me know how they come out of the dishwasher!

Do you think that was too much to cram into one day? How far was it from your resort? Wow I'm question bombing people today. Thanks for all your help ladies!

I'm going to play around and see if I can get some waterproof stickers or rub off's to personalize it. Love the idea of waterproof stickers or rub off's. Where are you going to get them at? I was thinking of the same thing but wasn't sure where I would go to find them.

I'm sorry to hear about that! I'm glad you marked a hidden spot. They had better fix that for you!!! UGH! You're my date twin, 10/10/10!

They have weird names but everything is very very good. I mean if us nebraska folk love it it must be good LOL LOVE it!! That's exactly what I needed, as most of my guests are from small town Nebraska. Thanks for that! And congratulations, can't wait to see pictures! Also thanks for the recommendation on not doing the cocktail hour. As of now I'm booked to have one but thinking I might reconsider.

Although I am happy the way they turned out I think for sanity reasons its better to let the professionals do it lol Jess I have to second everyone else when I say your invites are AWESOME!! WELL worth the time you put into them! So exciting!!! Quote: Originally Posted by smckinney22 Ours is at 4 at The Royal gazebo & reception is at 5 but I'm hoping to push it back to 5:30. Our ceremony is 5pm on the beach @ The Royal and the reception will start at 6:30pm on the beach. We're teetering RIGHT on 35 right now. I hope to keep it below 40. There were some people that I never thought would come that are coming!!!

The Michigan WC pretty much said that there was nothing she could do and that those were my only choices. I've also heard good things about the grilled zuccini salad. As for boring and american as possible, we went with the filet and mashed potatoes. That's about as american as you can get. LOL Anyone else who has Lilli as an on-site coordinator having trouble getting a response from her? I e-mailed her about a week and half ago and still nothing. Okay the salad from the vegatarian menu does sound good! Thanks for all of your suggestions! I wish we had more options but the filet and mashed potatoes does sound pretty good!!! :)

Okay girls, I need help! I remember reading through some older posts about one girl who put together her own menu. I have the menu's for the Luxury Wedding Package and to be honest my guests just aren't into that kind of food. Is there other options for the food? I need stuff that is as normal and boring-American as possible. (a squid salad would scare my father and the poor guy is paying for the wedding so it means a lot to me to have food he would enjoy). If any of you have any advice I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!! And if you have other menus please PM me. Thanks so much!

I had to make it a super high resolution so they would turn out better as flyers. I made flyers for free on vistaprint so everyone can have a map of both resorts so they all know where the restaurants and eveyrthing. I put a map of Playa that I liked on the back of both resort maps, but it was too large to attach, too. I went ahead and posted them below so y'all can at least see them, but PM me w/your email address if you want the higher resolution pics. GPR map Playa map I liked the best Royal map I already posted Thanks for posting those! They are a huge help!!!!!

Hi Jcooper! I'm thinking of doing insulated mugs as well. Where did you get yours at? I want to make sure I get quality ones. Thanks in advance!

Ha, I agree with the Slacker Club! I actually have a lot booked, but still haven't booked our rooms at the resort OR our flights. Oops. Just got photographer and make-up artist booked. Surprisingly my dress only took 2 months to come in but my BM dresses will take 4 months. Uh-oh!!!

I haven't created it yet (waiting for a weekend with my mom and sisters) but I know it has to be pink, hehe. Plus my fiance is quite metrosexual so I think pink would be good for both of us. Love the worm idea!

Thanks Cindy! Yes, my photographer thought 5pm would be great. I was all for a little earlier because I'm worried about how dark it gets right after the sunset. Thanks for the tip!

I totally want to hire you to do my final calculations!!! Where did you get the figures for the blood tests? This helped me even though it wasn't my numbers!

Hey everyone! Just found this thread! Another 10/10/10 here. I finally booked a photographer and hair and makeup!!! Now comes all the details! I have a question for my fellow October brides....what time are you getting married? My fiance is very set on 'sunset' but I thought 6/6:30pm would be too late. Right now we're scheduled for 5pm. Does anyone know what I should expect? Thanks in advance!

I'm not too sure how I feel about making my final payment now that it's done. Aja will be transferring me to an on-site coordinator soon, but many of you have said they are slow to respond these days. I'm not looking forward to that. Are y'all traveling with cash, travelers checks, credit cards...? I'm undecided as to what to do. I do not want to travel with large wads of cash, but am not sure how much of an inconvenience the other choices would be. This is our first time to Mexico, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, any one who is traveling Continental.. did you contact the airline ahead of time to inform them that you are traveling with a dress? Ooo that's a really good point on contacting the airline about traveling with the dress. I'm curious how everyone is getting their dress there. I don't want the airline to just throw it around.....
