The ladies are right...you should def be able to get started on your planning, especially since you are less than a year out now. Have you checked in with any of the TA's on this forum? Hi girls...another quick question: Were personal flowers (bouquets, bouts) included at all or were they priced separately. I'm planning to do real touch for these things but didn't want to be paying twice if it was somehow already worked into the wedding price.

Congrats to everyone who is working on their contract! Was everything priced separately or was there any base 'package' that you built off of? I'd love to know if there were any surprises or things that I should look out for...I'm going on my site visit and plan to start working on a contract in the beginning of May. I must feel GREAT to have everything falling into place!!!

I'm so sorry! I always worry about this b/c I figure that the contracts we sign must have limited legal validity...I think that a lot of us just go on recommendations from other brides and hope for the best. Do you have a travel agent with experience in the area that can advise you?

We plan for FI to wear a nice khaki linen suit (plus or minus tie). The groomsmen will probably skip the jacket but have nice long sleeve shirts. I think this look looks great on the beach, even next to a wedding gown.

You've already gotten a few great suggestions but here's one more (to either help or add your confusion!)... Take a look at Hacienda Tres Rios. It's in the Playa del Carmen area. It is eco-friendly and has a very upscale, elegant atmosphere. It's relatively new and there haven't been too many brides on the forum who have gotten married there but I'm going on a site visit there in May.

I think the short dress is very stylish. You can have so much fun accessorizing. A birdcage veil would be adorable!

This really is ingenious! What a great way to make sure that your guests look at your save the date frequently...even better than a plain magnet. Time well spent...I bet a lot of brides will use the template!
