I've been thinking about wearing a tea length dress for my Jamaican wedding My mom thinks I will miss out if I don't get a more traditional dress. Thoughts? Anyone out there with short dress pics?

Congrats!! Glad to see a few other Winnipeggers here! I'm getting married in Jamaica, so I don't know how much help I'll be. I've just started planning things too and the best thing I've done is have a Travel Agent friend start handling things for me, that way I don't make any mistakes regarding our bookings! Hello everyone! Are there any Manitoba brides out there planning their social. Ours is February 27th 2010 and I'm just beginning to plan things. I bought a couple of sale items for the silent auction baskets which has got me thinking about things. I thought maybe we could swap ideas for baskets. Definitely let people know about more formal attire required at restaurants. On our first vacation my Fiance only brought shorts and we couldn't attend the French restaurant. Often they offer pants or jackets in case you forget, but as my guy is of the bigger teddy bear variety, they had nothing for him.

It always takes me a awhile to figure out who I like and don't like. But with Jesse its easy. I didn't like him last time and he's proving to be just as cocky already! They'd be crazy not to get rid of him sooner rather than later!!

Congrats! I've never been to Cuba, but we traveled to Negril Jamaica in 2007 and fell in love with the Seven Mile Beach. We loved the people, beach, food and spectacular view so much we're getting married there next year. We can't imagine anywhere else!! Good Luck!!!
