I agree with jerseykitten. Most important is that you are comfortable with the WC you are dealing with. Its hard because as brides we are so excited and have specific ideas about what we want, but then we need that extra help to get it all put together. I think you and your Fiance should decide what exactly you want and then try out a few WC with your vision and then pick the one that fits you best! Just don't forget that even though you are thinking about your wedding 24 hours a day, your WC does have other clients and they are doing all the leg-work contacting the resort, which can be a lengthy turn-around when they deal with "island-time"!! Good luck!!!!

Wow, it always amazes me that there are so many Bridezillas out there! Your friend was unbelievably awful, but I'm glad she recognized it later. I have also learned to be a better bride because of a horrible experience. You were way better a person than I am, as I was kicked out of my friends wedding party 2 months before her big day for wanting to celebrate my birthday instead of making it all about her. (Long Story!) Its important to think about what you are asking of your wedding party. They are after all my closest friends and I want them to have a great time too! At least with a DW they are so excited to be getting a vacation out of it, they are willing to do whatever I need them too!

I am also experiencing that reaction. Honestly before I found this site I had never heard of it either! I told my mom and the horrified look on her face was priceless. I really want to do it but I gotta convince my Fiance! Everyone's pics on here look so great but he's worried ours will look silly because he's a bigger guy. But I'll keep working on him!! I will buy a cheap dress though, since I want to wear my gown for my AHR too! If you are inspired you should totally do one too! Who cares what anyone else thinks. And even if no one you know wants to see them, we definitely want to see the pics!!!
