I just got back from checking out places in southern Florida. I can give you info on these resorts, and tons of pics! Key Largo Grande Resort and Beach Club Mariner's Club (also in Key Largo, might be changing its name) Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort (Marathon FL, technically Key Vaca I think) The Westin Key West Ocean Key Resort and Spa (Key West) Casa Marina (Key West) LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort (Naples FL) South Seas Resort (Captiva Island, right by Sanibel Island)

It looks like the original post is a couple years old... As I've posted on a couple other threads (sorry if it's getting repetitive!), I just got back from a trip to southern Florida to check out wedding locations. We visited two resorts in SW Florida, one in Naples and one on Captiva Island (right by Sanibel Island). I'm happy to share the info I got on these resorts and the surrounding areas if anyone wants it!

Ali, I just got back from visiting several resorts in southern Florida, including 3 in Key West. Two of those resorts gave me their lists of preferred vendors. I would be happy to share the names of those vendors if you'd like! I'm sure they're at least decent if the resorts recommend them

Hi Courtney! I saw your welcome on my newbie post. So, as you know, I just got back from checking out a bunch of places in southern Florida. I can tell you how they rated, IMO, in terms of ceremony location. I also took tons of pics that I'd be happy to share! Here are some of the resorts we visited that had the best beach ceremony locations (IMO!) - 1. Mariner's Club, Key Largo (I think they're changing the name, can't remember...) 2. Key Largo Grande Resort 3. South Seas Resort, Captiva Island 4. Tranquility Bay, Marathon FL (technically on Key Vaca, I think) All of those places sound like they would be good for the intimate ceremony you're wanting. We visited 5 other resorts that I can fill you in on as well, if you'd like! Hope that gives you somewhere to start!
