Hi Tighty, Did you have to pay a $100 fee to bring in your own photographer then pay for them as a guest? I just got incontact with Kim in Florida for Real resorts, and that is what she is telling me...seems kinda strange.

Hi there, I am planning my wedding for June 2010, and in the midst of finding a resort a friend directed me to this site. So far it has been so helpful. I love seeing all the pics and videos as well as hearing the great advice from other brides. Me and my fiance Jason have been together almost 2 years now, and we recently bought a house together and blended our small family (I have a daughter from a previous relationship). I am looking forward to our destination wedding in Play del Carmen (unless that location changes...lol). We are looking at the Royal since my parents can stay at the Gran with my daughter. I am super excited and so lost on what to do. We are paying for most everything ourselves, so we don't have a huge budget. Any advice in most welcome.
