I totally agree with kate. It is almost like guys have this weird defect in their eyes that they can't see the folded laundry sitting there waiting to be put away, or the dishes sitting in the sink waiting to be cleaned! A "honey-do" list is a great way to get him in the habit of looking for the stuff he can help with Best of luck to you!! PS- I'm impressed you waited 45 min for him, I would've been in there pounding on the door! lol

Welcome! I started by checking estimated costs for airline prices. Most of my guests and myself are from the East Coast of the US so I knew it would be cheaper to look around the Caribbean. That is about as far as I got...I'm still trying to figure out which country!

Welcome! I'm a big fan of having things written out in front of me...so what I did is started a spreadsheet of resorts and bits of information I found about them. Like how many weddings in a day they have, do they allow children, estimate room cost, etc. Happy planning!

bringing children - how to figure out logistics?

My parents live in WI and we live in VA. My FI's mom lives with us but has stage 4 cancer, so we can't rely on her to be able to come down with them. The kids can fly back with their uncle, he lives 6 miles from us. The biggest problem is getting them down there 1/2 way through the week. Oh yeah AND we don't know if their bio mom will allow them to be there the whole week, she doesn't know the wedding is outta the country yet. -
