  1. I believe it all depends on the resort, since you have to book through the resort, mine is charging me $260/per hour
  2. My cake is being design I just used that pic as an example, but thanks for the tip... I don't want to go the diy route though. The resort is charging $500+ for a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting...horrible, either way I won't be pleased.
  3. If so, where are you getting it from and how are you transporting it? Sadly my resort has cakes that..... let's just say I can do a better job lol I'm from NY/NJ and cakes are like important as our wedding dresses...lol So I'm doing the next best thing...fake! It doesn't cost that much, will look beautiful in pics, they leave a hidden slice behind so that you may insert a piece of cake for the cake cutting ceremony and either have the resorts cake in the back to serve.... or I'm thinking of just going with the desert table that is all ready included in the menu, since cake usually always goes to waste I'm interested in knowing what you ladies think? I'm getting my cake from www.cakesconfidential.com instead of the flower I want a large pencil starfish, the fondant will be a pearlized teal and the ribbon color will be coral. They are chaging me $235 for it....
  4. Teal, Coral and Grey are my wedding colors, I will be doing orange pink flowers with teal ribbon
  5. I'm going to do real touch flowers, the prices and the flowers that my resort offers are of no interest to me... as much as I love real flowers.. it's not worth it I will make the best of it.... but the real touch flowers I've seen are great!, I will be dedicating a suitcase just for the flowers.
  6. Great Idea, I've been torn with what kind of basket I wanted for my flower girls and this is perfect!!
  7. Thanks Caryn, Good to hear positive feedback, I'm booked with him for November at Paradisus Punta Cana, I requested the illuminated dance floor can't wait!!
  8. Janet.. Sounds like this is it!! lol, I will wait to hear how your other dresses compare
  9. (pink) dislike Red Velvet Cupcake w/cream cheese frosting?
  10. omgoshh!! they put cheese and a lil bit of sour cream then they top it off with bacon bits..... More like a loaded baked potatoe but in soup form Delish!!!
  11. Janet1480, It looks beautiful on you honestly, how do you feel in it? In my opinion you will always know which ons is "the one" even if you're undecisive.... It's a beautiful dress best of luck
  12. I just found a date twin at my resort!! too funny, lemme see if I can get her over to this thread and see if she's interested... please hold
  13. Nice dress! I have the same one for my Bridesmaids but in Coral and the MOH will be in Grey

  15. Hi Valderama That is so awesome!! My Ceremony will be in the Gazebo and I privatized the Luna Restaurant for the Reception, I'm having Pastor York and DJ Mannia. I'm having Daviel Taveras do my photography. How about you? When are you arriving?, I will be there on the 7th. Haven't seen any websites beside the picasa album that the resort offers for ideas.
