Hey Flores, I spoke to Indira and I must apologize for posting those prices! I thought posting them might not be the best of intentions but since I couldn't pm Kelley I put them on the thread which is not fair to the artist. She gave me those prices since I know her friend but she also didn't check what the fair market value was at that time. Prices have gone up and she's still below what other Artists are charging, they all have a set rate when it comes to anywhere outside of the Capital (If they're from there, which most are). I had reached out to Jochy Campusano which is a great Make up Artist but his prices were way more than I was willing to pay. He charges $300.00 for the Bride, $150 for the Bridesmaids and $75 for hair. Just felt the need to clarify my prices from before. I know it might be expensive for some but for those who are willing to pay, I have more info if you need.

I'm actually paying for her transportation, and she had no problem paying for the $40 to stay at the Resort for the night, I guess it varies with Vendors.

Hey Liz Nope she was going to go back to the Capital on the 13th after check out. I'm sure that would work for you if you reach out to her, she's definitely a pleasuer and her work looks great. You're right, the only "make up" artists in PC are in the Resort Spa's and I wouldn't even call them that :/. Depending on the location of your resort, I'm sure there are Plazas that have all types of stores, souveniers, restaurants, hair salons etc. while I went to do my site inspection I made sure that I ventured out and I found my Salon $25 for hairstyles and they have proof of their work sounds right for me.

My hotel is charging the day pass which got me pretty upset... makes no sense! they're coming in doing make up and leaving..but since I've been communicating constantly with the make up artist she's also coming to NY and will be taking advantage of her trip to do a make up trial, I told her, if she came up with a small portion her and her asistant can actually stay at the resort for the day and stay till the next day... makes no sense paying $95 when it's 134/night to stay. I refuse to let the resort win lol

I say why not, it's a professional artist, who know what works in that type of climate, for some peace of mind and great pics... I'm gonna shell it lol Hope this helps I looked into Jochy he's also based out in the Capital and he charges $300 to do the bride and $150 for bridesmaids makeup... that is just way too much... he actually wasn't pleasant over email.. Make sure your resort won't charge you a day pass for the stylist to come do your hair, my resort tried saying that to me which was ridiculous $95 I said no thanks I will go to them.

Same here!! I couldn't believe the prices they are charging for hairstyles... thanksfully My resort is like 2 minutes from their plazas, I was able to meet with the owner of one of the hair salons outside of the resort and she is doing our hairstyles for $25...which is pretty awesome I brought her pics and got to see their work.. u should look into exploring outside of your resort as an option.

Did you have any accidents? lol my FH thinks people will fall or trip once they have one too many spirits in them and forget they need to step down or vice versa, how high off the ground is it? I would love to see a pic of the dance floor at your wedding if you don't mind.

the way I see it is, if they all don't get used, they're great cups to have at home regardless, sturdy plastic, always a reminder of our awesome time in PC, I love the changing color effect, can't wait for our order to go through!! lol

I'm actually getting married at one of the restaurants (the only one facing the beach) and I'm pretty sure it has a lower ceiling than a ballroom, I believe one of the times I spoke with them they said they could put the dance floor anywhere... they charged me $700 for the rental, my FH was shocked !!! but I just had to have it, some things I'm saving in and some things I'm paying a lil more than I should =/ I feel like the dance floor will just give off an even better vibe, make the dancing more exciting and will look fun in pictures, plus it's extra lighting, where I won't be needing to pay for extra mood lighting in the space

I bought this dress at the outlet for Saks Fifth Ave (Off Fifth) I got it for $100 it cost over $400, I was shocked when I saw it, it's beautiful in person!! I can't believe I found a picture of it on here.. too funny, I'm actually using this dress for my engagement pictures
