Hello, As I said before Indira is great at communicating, is professional, speaks english, does make up classes monthly and is all over in radio talk shows speaking about makeup in the Dominican Republic, I will posts pics after the wedding to give you more reassurance. Salon is decent, not small, 4 hair dressers, they have albums with their work, but I brought my pictures as examples) the address is Plaza Punta Cana Local No.55, Bavaro, Higuey, R.D. The phone # is 809-552-1398 - they provide transportation to and from the resort it's literally a 2-3 minute ride. Since I'm getting beforehand I will visit set up appts. for the bridesmaids. that way no one is there waiting to get their hair done. Hope this helps

Jennifer is great! I met her last year while I went for the site inspection and she guided me through the whole process, she speaks english and is very efficient, answers all questions/finds solutions and gets back to me in a timely manner. Super sweet girl and knows her wedding/ppc stuff I'm sure she will make your day go smoothly.

We're getting there on the 7th, crazy how time is starting to pick speed. I was going to do welcome bags but then I wanted so much it seemed like such a project so I totally scratched that idea and just got nice aromatherapy candles I got matches with our name and date and mini wine bottles with personalized labels and calling it a day, I will post a pic soon

Nice!! that's such a great idea, I wanted a simpler but fun white dress for the after hours party and I can't find anythingthat would have been an awesome option, match with my bridesmaids but in white aaargghh!! lol Oh well, I'll keep looking... It is a lovely dress, the draping is so flattering, it's too late my wedding is less than 3 months away, and I'm not paying no $50 rushing fee

My Bridesmaids dresses from Bari Jay love them!! Ordered them in the beginning of the year and have seen them atleast 3 times on say yes to the dress - bridesmaids edition o.O Coral for the Bridesmaids and Silver for the Maid of Honor, we're going to shorten them up a bit.

Hey, We stood at the remodeled RS, it's a lovely room, but the steps going down (like happened to my dear FI) he was drunk and missed the steps and flew lol!! not funny =/ but yeah, walking space around the bed isn't the best but still a great room, nice large sitting area, the bathroom area is fine, the jacuzzi to our room was actually outside on the balcony which was weird but cool in a way.... I dunno, I guess it was just another room, it wasn't fantastic but wasn't uncomfortable either.

Yes I've been to the resort twice already, the Restaurant is wonderful and huge!, it has a sunken room where they always put the buffet dishes.... during regular lunch and dinner times, I dunno how it will work for a Private Wedding yet, but as soon as I get my floor plan I will share it with you. I'm actually shipping my decoration over there..... they seemed way overpriced for me =/, I'm doing cargo shipping $75 a box, it takes about 6-8 weeks to arrive, fill it up till it spills lol, the Coordinator at PPC is Jennifer, she's fabulous!!, she holds whatever you send in advance until your arrival. sorry I have no recommendations, I just hate the way they try and get over with that.... the only think I can suggest is not overdoing it with the flowers, since it's just so beautiful already, you can get away with lighting and natural elements, ex: rocks, shells, sand. I'm going to post a pic I took with my cellphone from inside the restaurant over looking the beach, not the best quality but still, you get an idea.

@thePYT I also reserved the Luna/Romantico Restaurant, are you having a large guest count? I love that it's facing the beach but still an actual Restaurant, have you chosen centerpieces yet?

Pricing varies according to the resort where the wedding will be taking place. If you contact DJ Mannia they will be able to let you know if your resort is responsible for the booking or they can book directly with you, they ask that you ket them know what songs you like, which ones you don't, but reading from other reviews it seems like they're so on point that a list is not even needed. They do speak english and my package also includes lighting provided by them.... I'm getting married at PPC and they're charging me $900 for 3 hours that's including their bogus 16% service tax, it's $260/hour.

The hair salon is called Sandra's... I have the business card at home. I will give you all the info tonight. They're very friendly, they only speak spanish though but I'm sure with pictures that you bring or you can look at their portfolio and all should be fine, they even pick you up and drop you off. The salon is average size with 4 hair dressers, pretty nice considering... (not a whole in the wall) she charges $25 for hairstyles which is great!
