  1. Oh, I totally like that- Candi Flowers! LOL!
  2. Here you go... http://www.rhodesresort.com/negril-what-to-do.html
  3. Have you tried Etsy? They have some phenomenal birdcage veils & fascinators on there? I'm making my own, so I don't have any ideas of a place to get one in Chicago. As far as OOT bags, I've picked them out, but need to get a vecor logo to send the company for them. I've gotten some of the meds (motrin, pepto bismal, hydrocortisone for insect bites, etc). I'll be working on Welcome Books this weekend. I also got my puzzle books & some really cool Jamaican trivia playing cards.

  5. I'm including a map of Jamaica, map of Negril, itinerary, patois phrases, optional excursions, money exchange chart, places to eat, chart w/everyone's room number and some other things I can't remember at the moment, lol. I'll be working on them this weekend.
  6. Thanks! Wherever you are, you must be reading my mind lol. I'm working on Welcome books & was googling for patois phrases. If I find something new I'll be sure to come back & share!
  7. Are any of you at work today? They actually closed my office today! But boo- since I'm salaried, I actually have to work from home while others get a paid day off-- so unfair!
  8. Haha, the post above was for you SeeFlowers! Get to planning!
  9. I get married the day after you & I feel like it is literally around the corner and I have soooo much to do!
  10. Tenny I have a tourist booklet with all the excursions. I will come back & list some later
  11. Welcom SeeFlowers! Happy planning!
  12. Welcome PurpleUnicorn!! I'm getting married April 30th at Rockhouse Hotel in Negril, Jamaica!
  13. In the OOT bags I'm putting a nurse kit/hangover kit, jamaica themed trivia playing cards that I ordered from Kingston, beach towel, beach ball, puzzle book, key holder, door hangers, welcome book, possibly sarongs & bug candles, cups that I got on sale at Michael that say "eat, drink, and be married". For my guest book, I want to actually have squares of fabric that guests can write their "well wishes" on that I will later sew into a quilt
  14. I wish I could exercise! I've been so bummed about not being able to. I tore a ligament & fractured the back of my knee cap a few weeks ago. I had surgery 2 weeks ago so no exercise for me That's what I get for procrastinating! Now I have to totally depend on diet to lose the weight. Good luck to you all though!
  15. I kinda knew that my DW wouldn't be that much cheaper than something I would do here. I still wanted some of the bells & whistles so planned accordingly.
  16. @Apola- sorry! I didn't read through all the posts before asking what planning you've done. Love the flasks and hankerchiefs- very cute!
  17. Gosh, I forgot to say Welcome Apola! Where are you getting married at? How far are you into the planning?
  18. Oh wow- are you serious?? Kick her to the curb & don't blink twice!!
  19. I booked a year in advance. Paula & Damian spend alot of time out of the country photographing especially in Jamaica. If you go to the "blog" section of their website, they will usually tell you where about they are and whether or not they're able to get to their email. Paula's extremely nice & I'm sure she'll respond shortly.
