  1. Oh wow, you guys are toooo cute!!
  2. When I was trying to reserve my date at the resort, it was so difficult because they would not allow me to put a deposit to hold the date until the 2011 rates came out. I was terrified someone would get my date as she said it was a popular date that had been requested since October 2009! That should show you how in demand these dates are, lol!
  3. Thanks! I spent a few days trying to devise how I would be able to have the boarding pass jacket lined in my other accent color

I'm getting married April 30, 2011, the weekend after Easter. I was trying to avoid Easter weekend, miss hurricane season in Jamaica, and still get in on the low-season rates-and I did it!
  5. Wow! I tried to post this earlier and just when I was gonna press send, the whole thing got wiped out. Well here it goes again... I've included pics below, and I think I was able to convert one of the publisher templates to pdf for the boarding pass. I can't remember where I got the original templates from, so thanks to all my BDW girls, especially the ones that recognize some of their components to my stuff!! Sorry the pics are so fuzzy, but my camera is broken and these were taken with my cheap-o camera phone. 6. Ohhh.... so pretty! I wish I could wear heels that high! All the cute shows have heels that are too high for me... sigh...
  7. Oh wow, I really would like to see them! Finished mine just today, but just back from work and too pooped to post...
  8. Rockhouse Hotel in April 2011. I chose Rockhouse because it's more intimate, they only do 20 weddings a year and I was not interested in being part of a "wedding factory". Also, the cliffs are amazingly beautiful!
  9. Wow! I know that I definitely want to do a BD shoot, but I've almost been in tears about it. I already don't like taking pics, but yours convince me that they may turn out good??! You look AMAZING!!
  10. Congrats! Sunset on the Cliffs is very nice. I've stayed there twice before and it has a beautiful view. I once fell asleep on the lounge chair perched on the cliff with the biggest moon I've ever seen! I didn't wake up until 4 in the morning!
  11. Oh wow, so pretty. Those are really nice and know that they most definitely saved you a ton of money!
  12. Wow Paula- gorgeous as usual! Can't wait for you guys to photograph us at our wedding next year! Your favorite stalker, lol, Tyra

Their opinions would be more unbiased. The weddings at least need to be in the same budget ballpark. Anything more than $5,000 difference is obviously giving an advantage - especially for things like venue and food. It would be so much more interesting to see what four different brides could do with the same budget. I thought that at first too until I saw one particular episode where a diy bride on a tight budget actually won! I can't remember which episode since I DVR them all and erase them as soon as I see it, but I think it was the bride that had the loft wedding??
  14. I know! I booked Paula & Damian for my wedding next year!!
  15. Everything looks amazing! Have a wonderful time and enjoy yourselves. Congrats!!
  16. Thanks for the suggestion Starchild! I would love to meet other Chicago destination brides!
  17. Oh Precious I'm so happy for you!!! Have the most amazing time ever and good luck with everything. Mmmm... rum punch- have a couple for me!!
