  1. Congrats and thanks for the review!! Looks like everything turned out great!! I have one question....regarding the entertainers and the clubs, they usually dont leave until 11pm and ive been told my reception has to end by then....how late were you able to have your reception until? Reading about your experience is making me so excited to get there!!! cant wait to see your photos from juan
  2. i dont know about the albums, but when i was checking out other photographers all communication was by email. When you receive your photos depends on the photographer....sometimes they can be ready before you leave.
  3. WOW! I am truly impressed by everything in your post!! you did such a terrific job!!!!
  4. Thanks for sharing your great experience. Juan is also my photographer for my wedding at Dreams Cancun!
  5. Beach toys! Sand toys are great if you can fit them or pick them up at a Wal-Mart or something while you are there (Cancun has a Wal-Mart, i notice you are going to Aruba, and i have no clue if there is one there) but also consider deflated beach balls, swimming rings, and rafts...they take up hardly any room when deflated and are so fun in the ocean! You can also consider things like coloring books, flip flops, or even little squirt guns.

I put this info on our website for guests who might want to stay somewhere else. this is absolutely correct! and i had the same search for a place for the wedding for the same reason....majority of our guests reside in cancun so there was no way they would be booking! Dreams charges per person for dinner/bar (if you have more guests than the package) and that is why they allow it .... doesnt interfere with their AI plan.
  7. Something Old: really hoping to be able to sew one of my Grandma's gaurdian angel charms inside my dress....she passed away but LOVED anything angels. Something New: dress, jewelry, etc. etc. Somthing Borrowed: a fancy cocktail ring - its also blue! Something Blue: the ring mentioned above, and my shoes!
  8. wow everything looks great!!! you've done some well stocked bags, id be stoked to get one as a guest!
  9. i opted for a bridesmaid dress that i loved, and just ordered it in white. its amazing how much prices go down from what is considered a bridal gown to a bridesmaid....
  10. I agree go pick it up!! If they didnt want you to have it yet, they would have waited to send it!
  11. thanks for updating with pictures!! the ones here look beautiful....im headed to his site now to search for more!
  12. Check out the wedding reviews....there is a new one for Dreams Cancun posted today! there is tons of information on this forum - im a little biased towards Dreams though! Happy Planning!
  13. I've had them too!!! Most recently, it was one about the dress (just after they called to tell me it was in)....so of course i had a dream about the first fitting, got to the bridal salon, it was the wrong dress and it was red?!?!?! hope thats not some sort of sign!
  14. We are arriving ahead of our guests (except for my parents, and sister). I really wanted it this way so that i could have a moment of relaxation before everyone arrives (they are a partying group - big time). Also, i wanted to be able to personally deliver the OOT bags upon arrival and ill need time to finish them up once we arrive!
  15. Thank you for posting that review!!! I find it so helpful since your wedding was so recent. Looks like everything went off without any major bumps (despite the gazebo stress beforehand)!!! Congrats!!!! Your wedding was beautiful
  16. wow! that is a great bag and a great price! do you know if they come in different colors?
  17. Congrats and welcome to a fellow dreams cancun bride! happy planning
  18. I am soooo happy to hear that the gazebo nightmare is over!!!! Congrats to lilz125 and thank you for posting the pictures!!! so happy it all worked out...cant wait to read your review

I originally started with a non-bdw travel agent who is local and came recomended to me by a friend - and had the exact same experience! i was finding cheaper prices than her, notifying her, and then she would book it - however, ive since ditched her and am doing it all myself. TA in training i gues....
  22. keep checking the dollar stores...i found mine there. saw the large print ones too, but they do make them in "regular" size!
  23. the wal mart and costco are both downtown....and when i say downtown i dont mean the part of the hotel zone where the clubs are. you will have to take a taxi and its about 15-20 mins from the "club zone" to get to either one - BUT i notice you are at the moon palace which if i remember correctly is way at the other end (could be wrong?) so it would be a bit longer..... it will be cheaper, but not by much....the only reason i can see for doing it is convenience, i myself wont lug a case of water in my suitcase! hahah
