I think these look GREAT! I was also considering using the passports as my STD...did you send out a formal invite later on as well? Seems like i can get all the necesary info in the passport, but since its a year out its too early to ask for rsvp....what sort of formal invite did you do after wowing people with the passport?

all this info is so helpful! seems like i am on the right timeline....wedding in Aug.2010 so im crossing my fingers for having my STD's out by end of aug.2009 (11 months in advance), and according to you guys the invites should go right around february (6 mos) with an rsvp for end of May/June?!

i love the idea of taking pictures holding numbers! i have never heard of that before and i think im gonna have to borrow that idea! Thanks! we are also planning on having a projection screen at the AHR...actually it will play back the original ceremony from the DW, and just after we say "i do" the screen will begin to roll back up with us standing behind it as our entrance!

Ok, so i spend hours on this board...reading, admiring others work, and getting myself all pumped up...BUT i have no clue where to start!!!! I really LOVE the passport idea..are these used for save the dates or as actual invites? or do you send out just a little save the date, and then send the passports like 6 months before? Please help me, this debate is becoming a heated one amongst the "planners" aka me, my mom, and the soon to be hubby. THANKS

WOW! thanks to all of you for posting all this info...i am a dreams cancun bride as well, and like many of you, i am on the hunt for a different photographer. i have gotten many quotes on my own, and im comparing them to the info here now because it seems that i was quoted by some photographers a WAY higher price than what has been posted.....

great review...thanks for all the info! i have one question for you though (and any other dreams bride)...i have many, actually probably most, of my guests attending the wedding, but not staying at dreams. because of this they want me to pay $60 for a day pass for each person even though they are only attending our wedding from 5pm on, and since we are having more than 20 we are already paying for the meal/bar....so far they havent budged on this and i just dont understand it...enlighten me please?!

Just yesterday we officially put the deposit down at Dreams Cancun....our date is 8/9/10!!! I am so excited, we opted for the Ultimate Package, but there are so many things that we wont use/want since it seems everyone on here was able to trade some things for others...can some one fill me in on how this works? Did your coordinator give you a detailed list of each items value? i just dont know how to go about asking to change things....

i fell in love with a ring that was way out of budget....found out later that we could get it made exactly the same...with a better stone, and in platinum for almost a grand less than the big market chain...keep looking you'll find someone who can do what you need!

$70 dollars is CRAZY....i dont think i ever paid that much even on spring break!!!! Fat Tuesdays is gone now....so is LaBoom....but there is a newer club called basic that is built in the lagoon that is pretty cool!

Hi everyone... I have a dilema and need some help!!! I have pretty much got my heart set on a September 4th wedding in Cancun (2010) because its labor day weekend and my theory is that it will give my guests an extra (paid) travel day BUT...i am just now being warned by my fiance that its hurricane season and that we should bank on rain?!?!?! The coordinator didnt mention anything....have many of you out there taken the plunge this time of year with success

As i am reading this thread im noticing loads of comments raving about claudia and/or daniella......what about cecilia?? she is the one ive been in contact with, and so far everything has been very quick...but i am a bit nervous about not hearing of her! has anyone out there used her for their wedding?!?!?!

One of the things i am most looking forward to (besides becoming the Mrs.!) are the photos....these are simply gorgeous!!!!
