I have been looking for a resort for months. 3 travel agents later I'm hoping to just pick one because I'm so frustrated! I'm looking for a place that has a free basic pkg. if you book 5 or more rooms or some sort of deal like that! I'm looking into the Dominican or Mexico around $2000 or below. Does anyone have any suggestions of great places to go? A lot of the above posts helped!

Could someone post the prices of weddings at this resort or is it free for a basic wedding package? I tried to open somebody's link but it said I didn't have access! Thanks

I've been looking through many forums daily for the last few months. I'm trying to plan my destination wedding down south for the last few months. I have run into more road blocks than I thought was possible. I'm now on my third travel agent as the other two went on vacation and never got back to me! I'm looking for help in picking a destination wedding that is free, preferably in the Dominican or Mexico. I have been considering Dreams in Punta Cana or La Romano, however things seem to be booking up faster than I can plan. Does anyone know any other good resorts that are reasonably priced?

We are also planning on getting married in April 2010 @ the Riu Santa Fe. We haven't booked anything yet but will be soon! What will you be doing for a photographer? Did they give you any other information about your wedding?

Hi, After going through many books we think we have decided to get married at the Riu Santa Fe in Los Cobos, Mexico. The wedding will probably be the end of April or the end of May next year. Does anyone have any suggestions My main concern is a photographer. I have been debating getting a photographer there or paying for one to come with us. Does anyone know how the photographers are in the local area? Thanks for absolutely any information you can provide!
