  1. We are doing OOT bags that will be personalized with each guest's name and our monogram embroidery (it will cost me $15 per bag but we only need 12... so after thinking for ever I decided it was worth it). I'm putting beach towels, koozies, chap-stick, playing cards, tylenol, 5-hour energy drink, a couple of protein bars, first-aid kit, bottled water, a couple of gossip magazines/newsweek type of reading and a welcome brochure. For favors - women will get pashminas and guys - cigars. I hope my guests will like it...

  7. Is it okay to give cigars as favors for guys? I know that most of them don't smoke cigarettes but does it mean they will not smoke cigars either? I was just thinking of giving pachminas for women and something manly for guys... so far I can only come up with cigars...
  8. Thank you ladies for all your wonderful suggestions! I will definitely look into local things... the problem with that however is that my location is Turks&Caicos and according to what I've heard so far - there is nothing that is produced there. Everything is shipped (including alcohol) from other places... I'm not sure how much of local flavor I can get there...

  11. If you had more money left to spend on favors... say $20 pp... what would you give your guests?
  12. after 2 weeks of doing absolutely zero ex's, today - 35 min. on elliptical and 15 min. on treadmill at 6 mph. Do feel much better!

  14. Girls, thank you so much for all your feedback! You can't believe how helpful it is. I'm going with my FI to try both of them next week (I had to call stores all over the country to find my size and they ship them directly to the local store). I guess I'll make my final decision then but so far I'm leaning toward #2. The dress is from SaksFifthavenue, it's Badgley Mischka and it's on sale now for $275. They only have size 6 and 10 left but I'll be returning size 4 (it's too big) next week. The shoes are Louboutins I kinda match my dress to the shoes!

  17. 1. I've read Twilight 8 times and watched the movie 5 times... I'm truly obssessed with the story and can't wait for movie release... but I won't admit it to anyone! 2. I'm very ticklish (my FI is using this information way too often for my liking) and bruise easily. 3. I rarely see black-and-white dreams. Almost all of them are in color. 4. I love CSI type shows. 5. I'm a gadget junkie.
