  2. Can you guys help me with the following question… 1-If I rent chair bows from the resort, do I still have to pay a set-up fee for them to put them on? 2-For the cocktail hour the ultimate package comes with a mexican trio can I use a Caribbean trio instead? 3-Does anyone have the schdule for theme nights?
  3. Ok ladies, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I called Dreams Tulum directly and I kindly explained my dilemma to them. To my surprise they told me not to worry about it! They said they would honor the old promotion (considering I have 12 rooms booked with 36 people) I asked them if they could “kindly put it in writing”, and a day later they sent me the email! My worrying is over, thanks for your support girls- it’s nice to know I have someone to vent to!!!
  4. OMG – I’m starting to think this whole destination wedding thing was a bad idea. Is anyone having trouble with their travel agent? The whole reason why I choose Tulum was because it has an amazing kids club and I was told kids under 12 stay free (just pay for their air fare). Now my travel agent is telling me that this promotion ran out. I am going to have some very angry gusts- most of them already booked flights. Is anyone else running into this problem?
  5. If you decide to split the opder i'll take 40! Please PM me!
  6. Does Dreams offer center pieces to choose from? I know a lot of people bring thier own, but i was wondering if they offer anything. If so do you have to pay extra?

  8. gimliori, Thanks for the review, you wedding looked awesome. I'm thinking about having my reception in the ballroom too. Why did you pick the ballroom? Do you have pictures of the ballroom, if so can you post them or email them to me? [email protected] It would be a big help! thanks, Renee
  9. Ok, I think I finally made up my mind... I'm having my reception in the ballroom. I just keep on thinking how hot it is in July. People are going to be baking in the sun all day-so I thought it would be better to be inside. I personaly get cranky when I'm hot, so inside is definitly my best option! So with that being said, I need some help!!!! 1- Pictures PLEASE- I'm wondering what the rooms look like. I'm also wondering what the table set-up will look like. ANY PIC.'S WOULD BE GREAT!!! I saw the pictures from page 2 of the forum, but I would like to see more 2- Dance floor- is there one in the room already or do I have to pay? 3- Could anyone give any advise or comments reguarding the ballroom
  10. mine is july 15th. I'm senting out invites the first week of december
  11. I'm having my wedding in July and I'm debating on having the reception inside (ballroom) or outside? I'm alittle worried about the heat, so I thought it might be better to have it inside with air conditioning. However, I rather have it outside because I think its more pretty. Is anyone else debating the same thing? Any suggestions would help.
  12. You should have a shower. You are a bride and all brides should have a shower. If people don't want to go then they don't have to.
