I completely agree - every room should have a mini bar and room service....especially since those are things that are standard at pretty much every hotel!

So the starfish and the notebook got separated? omg, that's horrible. If brides are going to participate in this thread they really need to make sure they are following thru. I'm sure there are some brides who may be using the starfish for their "something borrowed" or "something blue" and if the bride before them goes MIA,hat is sad Hopefully the starfish and the notebook can be reconnected??

It seems like most of you are going for the custom sizing....but has anyone ordered form the standard sizing suits and were they true to size? too big / too small?

Love the review Jordana - sounds like you had a wonderful time and everything was perfect! And I'm so glad to hear that they were able to accomodate your requests once you were at the resort. I am so tired of the high pressure sales pitches from Monica!! I just keep telling her, No - we will decide later, lol.

We are booked for the Honeymoon Grande Luxe King in the Caribbean Village. We were originally leaning towards a room in the French Village, but based on the suggestion from our TA, we changed our mind. She had told us that while the French Village is newer, that some of those rooms are just about ready for an update, and while the Caribbean Village is older, that section of the resort has been updated recently so actually looks better than the French Village. I was hoping for the possibility of an upgrade when we get down there, but I don't think that's going to happen as the resort is just about fully booked for the week we are there....or at least online most categories are saying sold out. But there are a few suites still available...I wouldn't mind being upgraded to the Presidential Suite, lol!

With all the great things Krys has had to say about Sail Provo, I don't know why there are hardly any reviews on Trip Advisor and the reviews that are posted aren't that great? Personally I don't think I'm going to book any photo packages before we actually get down there - despite all the pressure from Monica! I just really don't want to commit to anything without knowing what the photos are going to look like ya know? I have no problem buying pics if I like them (after I can actually see them)....all I really want them to do is take pics and then let me look at them and buy the prints I want afterwards. I just don't want to prepay for a package and then it turns out that I don't really love the pics. But we'll see what happens.....

I'm glad I found this thread! So far I have been in contact with Sail Beluga (only accomodates up to 6 so that was out), Big Blue (which sounds great but is more expensive than others and also seems a little more "commercial" maybe?) and then lastly Sail Provo. I had tried finding info on Trip Advisor about Sail Provo and wasn't able to find very much, which I wasn't sure should worry me or not. But I know Krys has mentioned great things about Sail provo as well, so I was planning on trusting Krys, crossing my fingers and hoping for the best, lol. But it's nice to know that Atabeyra is another option as well. We gave our parents a private charter as an xmas gift so I know I definitely need to book something. I'm going to try and reach out to Atabeyra to get some more info and then make a decision betwen them and Sail Provo. Does anyone know if suncharters.tc is the right website for Atabeyra? This is the only one I can find when using google?? I'm just looking for some pics and pricing.....

WOW!! I just did a quick glance at some of the posts and I saw the list of all th T&C brides - yikes!! When I first joined BDW, there were only a handful of T&C brides, so there wasn't much info about Beaches, and that was part of the reason I stoppned coming around, but now the list is huge. This is amazing!! And I see that on May 21 there are 3 brides there the SAME day - this is so exciting!! Now that Beaches and T&C are getting more action on the forum I may have to start checking in more often I def want to read thru some of the new reviews when I get home from work tonight!

I haven't been in BDW for ages, but we are getting married at Beaches T&C on May 5th, 2011. Still haven't decided for sure on location yet. We thought we wanted on the beach but everyone keeps saying the Gazebo is so nice and the view of the ocean is just perfect so now I can't decide.

Unfortunately I don't think they are offering brides to just purchase the raw footage anymore. This is what I wanted to do but my WC is telling me NO! She insists that I need to buy some sort of photo.video package to be able to add on the raw footage.

I see there is another bride who has the clear starfish on April 1 already, but maybe you could use the blue starfish instead (I'm not sure of the dates for the blue starfish tho)?

Were you trying to get on the clear starfish list or the blue one? The next bride for the clear on is June 17, so I don't know if that is enough time for you to get it to her?? Maybe send her a PM to check on this?

I know for awhile Bree was keeping tabs on this starfish thread and adding new brides/dates to the list etc, but I know she hasn't been around very much since her wedding. Unfortunately I don't have much time to be on here either right now because if work, so if anyone wants to kind of take over and keep this organized that would be fantastic! I will try to stop in more frequently to help, but I would hate for anyone to get missed just because I'm not very organized right now I also wanted to check in with Tiera1031 - do you have all of my info to send the starfish to me after your wedding?
