  1. exercising : going to do today
  2. oh yea, I definitely don't want to lose my curves...but do need to lose some of the fat that's covering my curves right now, lol!
  3. What happened to this thread?? It was one of my favorites, but everyone disappeared or is just lurking, lol. Anyone still around? So right now I have a gym membership at our park district, and while it's almost brand new, and very nice...it's also very basic. A few treadmills, a few elliptical machines, a few stationary bikes, a step machine and then a bunch of weight machines and free weights. I was good at going for about 3 months and then I just kind of lost my motivation. I think I need to do something different to switch it up and keep it fun/interesting ya know? So today I stopped at a bigger gym, that has everything...a pool, tons of classes, lots of cardio machines, weights, a spa...everything. But the issue is that this gym is $80 a month, where as my current membership is like $20. So I'm trying to decide if it's worth switching. It's a huge price jump, but if all the different classes can keep me motivated to lose weight, then it'd be worth it right? What are you ladies doing this summer to try and get/stay in shape?
  4. Sorry I missed this yesterday - Happy belated birthday Amy!!!
  5. Hi Jenna - I just wanted to see if you were still around, and how everything was working out with you, your fiance and the counseling? I hope all is well.
  6. I know there's at least one thread already on this - http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...r-theme-52094/ If you search for "fuchsia" under the flowers/decoration topic I'm sure you'll find a bunch of stuff.
  7. Congratulations and welcome!! Definitely check out the wedding reviews for your resort under the review section...I'm sure you'll find tons of info for your planning!!
  8. Wow!! what a detailed review...great job!! Everything looked absolutely perfect. I esepcially love the fuchsia crinoline under your dress, and the carriage too!! I'm sure all the MP brides appreciated all the effort you put into your review as well.....thanks for sharing!
  9. I just saw this thread G....you really did a great job and I love the "In Memory" section...it made me cry. I think I'm going to do something like that for my mom. Thanks for sharing
  10. Great job V!! I really like the first one, but they are both fabulous. The first one is more fun, and the second is a little more classic/elegant. And I like that your FI made them for you, so it's a little more personal
  11. question mark : don't know fyi - funky cold medina was a song from the 80's
  12. Yayy for your planning thread!! Your dress is beautiful, and you did such a great job with everything - thanks for sharing Only 2 more sleeps!!
  13. awwwww...I would not stress at all over the little things. I think there are a lot of girls that don't get all teary eyed about their dress, and I know there are lots of girls having small weddings as well (me included with about 10 guests). But those things aren't what will make your wedding day special....it's you and your FI that will make it special. The two of you are going to have a fabulous vacation and exchange your vows in a beautiful setting, and you'll have tons of pics and stories to share when you get back that will make everyone jealous! It's going to be the trip of a lifetime
  14. I literally just spent about an hour reading thru this thead and checking out all the awesome etsy finds!! Somehow I had never heard of etsy until I found this forum! Thanks for sharing everyone I haven't bought anything just yet, but have saved a ton of stuff to my favorites so I can come back later on. I'm trying to decide on a dish for our rings and am debating between these two....except I would have fuchsia/orange ribbon since those are our wedding colors.
  15. Congrats on the interview and good luck with the mock lesson as well!!
  16. Happy early bday Amy!! I'm happy today because FI finally went to the hardware store to get stuff to fix 2 of the screens on our dining room windows that have little holes in them. I know that's lame, but I've been bugging him to do it forever and today he finally did it without me even reminding him. I'm also happy because I submited my request for a quote on my real touch flowers this morning, so will hopefully be able to check that off my list soon
