I am inviting family - immediate family !! I am not paying for their trip though. I promised to not be the least bit offended if someone can't make it because of the costs. If you keep your guest list small, you may be able to take advantage of free wedding packages at some of the resorts.

I agree with everyone else... wear the dress! It's beautiful! If you really want to change into something else, maybe do so after dinner, if you plan to go dancing. You only get to wear it once...wear it as long as you can!!!

I stayed at the Iberostar 3 time. The last time I was there, ther food quality and service seemed to have gone down hill. The Iberostars, if on their game, can be nice, not luxury though. The evening entertainment was NOT good! The weddings we saw there were not private. Amy

I don't think it matters if you are 21 or 41... you are always your dad's little girl. I am definately having my dad walk me down the aisle even though our wedding i also small and non traditional. I would talk with him and get his take.... he may appreciate being included in the "real" wedding (thats how I think of my second one!!). -
The first dress!! It's very beautiful. I like the combination of the fitted top and a billowy bottom...sleek and bridal!
