  1. Maggie....great review! I don't think there is such thing as too long for those of us waiting for our turn!! Question - was the Seaside Grill closed for the night or were there other diners there with you? Amy PS - Great pics!
  2. The dress looks beautiful on you. It obviously photographs well and you look great in it.

  4. Beautiful! I'm sure your red jewlery will really set off the whole look.
  5. What a great dress! It has really great details...I love the flowers on it!

Does anyone know if the WiFi is accessible on the beach as we would like to broadcast the wedding back home? The size of the rectangular tables? Does the speakers hook up directly to an iPod? I have more questions but it's a good place for me to start! The last minute details are starting to pile up! Thanks for any help! Cheers. Are you looking for the exact measurements of the tables Natalia should be able to provide that. The non exact measurement is... the rectangle tables seat 2 people on each of the long sides. I posted some picture of them on photobucket.
  7. Congrats! Enjoy finding your perfect location!!
  8. I love the dress. I think the way the top is form fitting, you are getting your "sleek". The way the bottom drapes, you are getting a bit of traditional without going overboard. Beautiful dress!!!
  9. Your dress looks so great on you! From the photo, you definately cant tell its too big.

The wedding with the speaker had very lovely classical music playing while the guests were seated and the wedding march for the bride. I thought it sounded good...not over the top. The other wedding did not have any music...sounded as though one of the guests sang a song while the bride walked down the aisle, but I couldn't really hear. The part I like on this wedding is that every guest (about 10-15) stood up and surrounded the bride and groom during the ceremony so that they could hear. Myself, I am torn between these options!!! They both have a certain appeal. My guest list is only about 20-25...so I can go either way. Maybe both!

She has done amazing things for so many brides! I am beyond stoked!! I can't wait until I have enough posts to check out these reviews!! What great pics & posts since I have been gone...but I still have more to catch up on, so by for now. How awesome to be bringing your own stylist/guest!!
  12. I sat off to the side of a wedding that had the speaker... from the beach chairs the volume and clarity were great!! I was about 30-40 feet from the wedding canopy and could hear fine. Hearing it now has me considering renting it.
  13. Another vote for #3. At least in the photos...it seems to be the most flattering. Maybe you could go and retry all of them on again, take new photos and re-evaluate.

Is it really that cost effective? We are heading on our honeymoon 2 days after our wedding, and I don't think shipping the items back will be cost effective at all?! I do want our day to be what I envision, but I am concerned about the decorating options that Dreams has to offer, it just doesn't seem like they offer a lot.....It is sooo confusing!!! My main concern are the flowers and centerpieces/paper lanterns. Should I just hire an outside florist or just get another wedding planner from the area to help? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! I was just at dreams and got to spy on a reception. All the couple did was put a couple of simple candles on the tables and little gift boxes on the plates. At Dreams...all of the outdoor reception locations are really nice and don't need a lot of help to make them look good. If you buy lanterns, what if you end up at a location with no place to hang them? My concern is that there are 2 other weddings besides mine on May 7, so I don't want to create an extravagant set up not knowing where I'll end up. Simple, romantic candles on the table and a few flower pieces can go along way.
  15. The flowers are great! Great colors. I think they will look really nice next to your MOH dress. Mixing the shades of blues and purples should make the flowers really pop next to her dress.
  16. Congrats! There are alot of really helpful threads you can read for info.
  17. Welcome and happy planning! The fun really begins after you book your resort!

It was reassuring to see each of the wedding cordinators at the weddings taking care of behind the scene details.
  20. A question for brides... Who did you tip and how much? Did you tip: the minister, wedding cordinator, servers at dinner, musicians, photographer...and anyone else I'm leaving out I want to put together a budget and need to include this. Any help or ideas is welcome!!!
